The service was polite and funny, but the food was horrible. The chicken was greasy and had no real taste. Very under seasoned and over cook. The catfish was under cooked and tasted plain. With my meal they gave me a teaspoon of coleslaw slaw. 😂😂 I would be surprised if this location isn't closed within a year.

Phew! I'm not sure if the classic 'at home' fried chicken taste and flavor came from the signature hot sauce or the chicken. Don't matter, either or , the fried chicken is legit. Obviously the hot sauce is a must. Extremely impressed. I'll be back!

De’Ja & Qumar are literally the best combo in this place. De’Ja brought the energy and was very thorough with all of our orders. Qumar made sure our food was hot and fresh. Everything was cooked to perfection. Literally the best I’ve had from Harold’s. 10/10 recommend.

Ordered a 1/2 all white today. Got home an the chicken was overcooked, smelled burnt and had a sour taste to the breast as if it was spoiled. My wife stomach got upset immediately after eating a few bites from the breast. Attempted to call this business an of course NO one answered! Wasted time and money! Will be calling the health department on them!

I bought two wing chicken did not taste fresh and it looked old. I really wanted to support but the chicken source needs a serious upgrade.

Im sorry but I wouldn’t be back,
Seating-
outdoor seating was sticky (stained my shirt white shirt sitting on the chair) I had to brush off the tables, floor had live sauce and old stains to compliment my brand new shoes)
Food-
chicken was too salty and more breading than chicken, I don’t usually eat catfish but it was their best item with their fries, lobster bites were bland Mac and cheese was microwaved (cold in center)
Service-
The woman who took my order was nice, I didn’t catch anything placing my order however
Two African American gentleman got there (after) we placed an order and were served first. I waited about ~30 min.
Price-
I got one platter for 2, Lobster bites/Mac/drinks- 47$ price isn’t bad, it’s the food.

This place was pretty good, the chicken is cooked to perfection! Extremely juicy and not salty. The french fries are kind of plain didn't have much flavor to them, potato salad was really good. Customer service was excellent, the restaurant is very clean. The bathrooms were extremely clean which I was surprised. If you're looking for some good fried chicken and not have a lot of seasoning but perfect season this is the place you definitely want to stop and check out.

I was born and raised in Chicago and they did not disappoint. The chicken was so fresh, and the pizza puff was amazing. This made me feel like I was at home eating Harold’s. Not only was the food amazing, the staff made me feel so welcomed and cared for. The manager Cheyenne was so kind and personable. She really cares about making customers happy. I will be back!

Hate to leave a bad review but… food was bland. The staff seemed like they didn’t really want to be there. I ordered a few wings and catfish, it was ok, it was kinda tasteless really. Best part was the catfish and fries. Maybe better seasoning and better sauces for dipping would help. It also took a pretty good while seeing there was nobody else in there. Overall, won’t back.

The chef Anthony and Cezar was great And my short rib plate was fire!!! So good hot and fresh.
