Hey Sunshine Kitchen is such a gem! The team is always friendly and welcoming, and the food is fresh and delicious every time. My husband Maurice and I have enjoyed dining at their Culver City location — it’s a comfortable and inviting space.

I’ve also ordered several dishes through DoorDash to sample more of the menu, and everything has been wonderful. The spicy chicken is so good, the mac & cheese is tasty for both young and old, and our favorite...

I’m not vegan but the fiesta carnitas is the best bowl I’ve ever had and the flavors are spot on with a nice level of heat. The crispy chicken tastes amazing too. I’ll definitely be back. This is my kids favorite restaurant in culver city. It’s now my go to spot for take out or a healthy meal.

Okay so this review is severely overdue and late and I apologize to the amazing owners of Hey Sunshine for that. My first visit (of many) was back in October of 2024 for my Billy Joel concert. What a great pre-concert meal. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. Then the food… WOW. Been vegan for years and this is hands down one of the best vegan restaurants ever. Even my mom who isn’t vegan loved this place when I took her more recently. It’s just the best vibes inside....
