We had enjoyed Home State prior to going to this location had a party.
My only comment would be that the food wasn’t as hot as I had hoped it would be by the time it came out to our table on the patio, but it was enjoyable. And the service is good.

The breakfast tacos are delicious (loved the Trinity). The tortilla was so fresh.

Brisket taco was okay. The guac was the best part.

Obsessed, but how do we lobby to get this location to stay open until 9PM?!

This was our first experience and first visit with HomeState. HomeState NEEDS to come to No. California. UCD (Davis, Calif) would greatly benefit from HomeState!! The server was so sweet and efficient. The food was super good and priced right. The food was delicious.
The student and local Davis residents would greatly benefit from a HomeState. Please co super coming to Davis.

The food is very bland in the land of great Mexican food Homestate doesn’t stand a chance. The margaritas are bland and over priced. I tried a brisket taco, a chicken taco and a “large” margarita ended up just leaving the margarita because I didn’t want to drink it anymore after a few sips. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.

We love this place for a quick bite - the brisket quesadilla is a hidden gem and the big guac can feed three people. It’s easy, fast, and delicious, with a really nice patio for outdoor eating.

Parking: A few spots outside for free street parking plus multiple parking garages nearby (paid).

I order from here pretty often and their food and service is always great! I will admit, it’s quite pricey for the size of individual tacos, and they look extra small wrapped up in the tin foil. But, the seasoning and freshness of ingredients is great! I guess the price makes sense for the area though. The staff are super friendly and it’s a very cozy atmosphere!

I wish they would open it up for doordash pick up (idk why they only offer delivery) since I work in the building and just want to order some for pick up sometimes.

The food is very over-priced, not at all worth the price. The service was friendly, but when we received our order, there were no utensils or plates; so I went back to the counter to request those items and the staff looked at me like I was crazy for asking. I think they expected my family to all eat out the one tray and with our hands. I don't recommend this eating spot.

The most amazing tacos! Do Trinity, Tijuana Panther, Blanco!

Stopped by for a breakfast taco. Flavourful, but a little small for the price. With so many great tacos spots, while clean and fun, not overly authentic.
