Nice decor and the food was delicious. It’s very expensive for what you get and we ultimately left hungry. Also it seemed they’d prefer to trick you into a $40+ glass of wine as the recommended drink of choice, without making sure you understand it’s an exceptionally high price and not in line with other glasses. Just felt a little like they took advantage. For a French restaurant not providing bread and butter or showing it on the menu is odd. No restaurant in France wouldn’t serve bread, esp. when there is a bakery next door and people are paying a premium to eat there. No reason to return when we compare to other restaurants

Entrees were perfect but that's all I can say. Service was terrible and a large group was extremely loud and screaming over our table the whole time. $350 for dinner of 2 was a disappointment .

We were able to grab a last minute reservation on a Thursday night. We were seated promptly, but the restaurant was not very busy anyways. Service was… snooty. They were all up in our business trying to get us to order wine (asked us three different times). Once they realized we didn’t want wine, they disappeared. They recommend you do family style here. I do too because if you don’t, you may be sitting there starving for quite a while. Food came out very slowly - one plate at a time once in a blue moon. Each portion is rabbit sized. As in they were tiny. We dropped like $250 for three people and left hungry. Food was ok. Some dishes were interesting such as the Mousse au Foie Volaille, a chicken liver tartlet with apple gelée. The fancy snow on top tasted like cheese popcorn. Interesting - and a little yummy - but this tartlet took the “let” part of its name seriously. It was tiny. I don’t think any dish was particularly delicious or satisfying enough to warrant the portion size.

11/10 experience at Juliet! The food was absolutely perfect and staff was lovely! Our server, Hannah was instrumental in helping me pick the right wine. The food was beautifully prepared and the atmosphere was perfect for date night. Highly recommend!

I made a reservation for myself and a friend to catch up and also celebrate our birthdays together (which I noted on the reservation)...

The restaurant itself is stunning... the MAIN event though was THE FOOD and it was all incredible... (THE CHEF EVEN CAME OUT TO SAY HI!)

We ordered the Poisson Cru, Tartare et Caviar, Risotto aux Champignons, and the 12 oz steak they had on the menu with potato in duck fat (AMAZING!), along with the éclairs for dessert... EVERYTHING was great. We would definitely have repeated the meal if we had any room...

We started with the Brut Nature, Olivier Horiot, ‘Métisse’, Les Riceys, NV (5oz pours), I then had a glass of the Gamay, Dupré-Goujon, ‘La Démarante’, Côte de Brouilly, Beaujolais 2021...

At the dessert course, the staff brought over Madeleines au Beurre Noisette with candles and the cutest tiny coupes of champagne for us to cheers our birthdays! Very classy and nice.
The staff was great, as well.

The 4 stars for ambiance is we were seated next to the restroom... which normally wouldn't make a huge difference but definitely NOT ideal placement for a 2 person birthday dinner...

Aside from that... we definitely recommend Juliet. The staff was all kind, engaging, and helpful... the food was great and we had a lovely time! Merci!

If you've been wanting to try Juliet... you won't be disappointed!

We stopped in for lunch today for the first time in a while and were pleasantly surprised to find that Juliet has maintained its delicious and gorgeous food, beautiful interior, and wonderful service. We loved it and promised ourselves a return visit soon!

This is a great spot for anyone curious about French wine and champagne. Andre made great recommendations to us for some great pairings. We had a great time! All the dishes were delicious.

Quality of food was excellent- lamb, chicken & risotto as mains. All starters great too - oysters, endive salad & sliced amberjack.
Service could be improved but we were struck given how most good restaurants in LA are super crowded how this excellent place was but half full on a Wednesday night. Our party included those from Korea Town - 20 minutes & Santa Monica - 30 minutes at rush hour- 6:45 - not bad.

Excellent food. Service was about what one would get at a diner. For $100 plus per person, it should not take 15 minutes to greet our table if 9, and even longer to come back and take our order. The food runners had no idea whom had ordered what, and randomly placed our meals on the table. The head waitress never came back to refresh our drinks, never asked us how our meal was. She did come back to sell us dessert. So disappointing. A table of 9 makes for a big tip, so why the indifferent service?

The reason this isn’t a 1 star review is because the hostess was very kind about my party arriving late. That is where the good service ends.

That said, a few things here:

1. Originally, I thought my sister-in-law was just being difficult, but my server could not have been more cold or unaccommodating to my table if he tried. At the price of the food, things like minor substitutions shouldn’t be an issue, or at the least they should charge us for substitutions. It shouldn’t disqualify a dish because I can’t eat the sides. Our waiter was being much nicer to other tables, so he decided to have a gripe with my family and I, which isn’t right.

2. My stepmom is allergic to onions, and the salads don’t list that they have onions at all. When we got the salad, it was filled with raw onions. I asked if the dish could be returned, and he said no. I said “if we knew there were raw onions in the dish, we wouldn’t have ordered it.” My server’s answer: “I don’t know what to tell you.” My stepmom and my Dad had to spend about 5-10 minutes picking onions out of the salad.

When I told him, nicely and graciously might I add, that onions are something that should be listed on a menu, since a fair amount of folks are allergic to onions. His response was a quick “yes sir,” and he bolted away. Mind you, the restaurant was not at all busy. He just didn’t care.

3. My sister-in-law asked to have the chives removed from her salad. When she asked, the server acknowledged that request and said “I’ll ask them to not add chives.” Her salad came covered in chives. The server’s response was “oh, I asked them not to include them.” At that point, we had been waiting 15 mins for a salad, she decided to just scrape off the chives. It wasn’t worth sending back. Plus, we had no faith they would take back the salad, because they wouldn’t take back the other salad that was full of onions.

4. The chicken I ordered was cold in the center at certain parts. At this point, I didn’t care to complain. I didn’t trust anything would remedied, and (though I know it sounds paranoid) I didn’t trust that this guy wouldn’t spit in my food at this point, because of his disdain for my table. I figure I’m just going to cut my losses.

I’m not really wanting to come back here. My sister-in-law and brother, who were semi-frequent customers, do not want to come back here.

My suggestion to the restaurant: be more accommodating at your price point, and train your wait staff to be warmer to their customers. Customer service matters at the price point of this restaurant.

My suggestion to potential customers: the service negates the quality of the food (which depends on the dish and I guess the server and chef that night) and the price is high. I would avoid this restaurant.
