Wow — this pop-up Cambodian spot blew me away! The food was so good — every bite was packed with flavor. The beef on lemongrass skewers as well as pork belly and chicken were all super tender and flavorful, and the herbs and sauces tied everything together perfectly. You can tell everything’s made with passion and fresh ingredients.
The people running it were super friendly too — they took time to explain each dish and give recommendations even to brick and mortars to try. It’s the kind of place that makes you excited to try something new. If you see them around town, definitely stop by — you won’t regret it!

Kreung LA is probably the best food I’ve had in LA since I moved here. I had never had Cambodian food before, and the second I tried Sam Oum’s masterful flavor creations, I questioned everything I knew previously about flavor! They’re the real deal and I can’t recommend them enough for those that already love Cambodian food and those are looking to try (and get their minds blown) for the first time.

If you’re looking for quality food, cooked well, at a good price (especially these days), Kreung is 100% worth your time.
Had the meat platter with all meats, all sides and really enjoyed it.
My favorite protein is the pork belly, with the chicken a close second. The vinegar-based dip is wildly clutch.
The pickled slaw is shockingly good and balances the meal well.
TLDR: I think you get great value at Kreung and really clean, well seasoned, well prepared food for your $$. Well worth your time and money.
