We had an outstanding experience for our first catered event with LA Spice. The event planner, Andrea, was pleasant and easy to work with. She came and did a site visit to assess the possibilities for the party set up.
A few weeks later we had to change the venue. She was completely unflustered, came back for another site visit and made new suggestions about the set up.
As for the menu, she listened carefully to our parameters, then put together a menu that looked great on paper. She also worked with us to design the party layout including the colors for the table coverings, garden umbrellas, chairs, etc.
On the day of the party, she arrived early to oversee the set up. The catering staff came shortly afterwards and worked in a well orchestrated fashion to put everything together in just about 30 minutes.
The food that had looked good on paper was superb in both appearance and taste. The guests raved about the food long after the party!
The service by the staff of five (Chefs: Conrad & Dante; Servers: Agustin & Dawn; Bartender: Seth) was top-notch — pleasant, professional, attentive, and good humored. Many of our guests complimented us on how we’d found this group for our event.
For the size of our party and the food and service provided, the cost per person was very reasonable and lower than in our past experience with caterers.
We will definitely use LA Spice for future events and would highly recommend them to anyone else.

She worked with me until well past normal business hours to ensure that everything went smoothly and to provide me and my family with exactly what we were looking for to celebrate my father’s life and welcome 30+ people into my house after his funeral services. She then came to my home personally to ensure everything went smoothly and was set up beautifully while I was not yet even home from the services.The superb Chef not only makes excellent, elegant, beautifully presented food, but is a truly kind person. He took precious time away from his family while at an amusement park in order to put together (and then adjust!) a lovely menu for me on such short notice. The food and the presentation of it was just exceptional. It was exactly what I wanted and more. The amount of food was also perfectly estimated. Everyone had plenty to eat and got what they wanted, there was no shortage of food and yet, there was also not too much left over after the event ended.The servers, Augustin and Mike were so kind, well organized, helpful, pro-active, polite, efficient, observant and overall excellent servers in our home during the event. Even our guests noticed and commented on how wonderful they were.LA Spice will be the only catering service I will use and recommend going forward whenever possible. There were a few people in my home that day who also need the services of catering on occasion they wanted LA Spice business cards. That is high praise.They did a spectacular job in every way and it was not only noticed, but appreciated.

A team of two arrived 2 hours before the food had to be served. They set up the grill and a nice table, and started making food from fresh ingredients. We asked the food to be served over 3 hours (1 hour extra). The quality was superb so was the service. There was quite a bit of leftover that they saved for us in our containers.
