We went to Margot for brunch and it did not disappoint. The vibes and views alone are worth the visit, but the food and service sealed the deal for us. Our waiter was great! He was really friendly and gave us a great rec: the French toast, which was next level, possibly the best in the city! We also had the oysters and arancini, and both were delish. If you’re looking for a bougie weekend brunch spot or cute dinner spot overlooking the city at sunset, Margot nails it. Highly recommend and definitely coming back!

Margot is solid- yohre paying more for the vibe than anything else (Aesop soap in the bathroom is a clear indicator of this). Food is fine but nothing to write home about. Same with the service.
I don't think I'll be back anytime soon but I don't regret going by any means- solidly enjoyable. Small menu so I'm sure you can't really go wrong with anything.

it's a nice spot. I've always enjoyed the good food and the ambiance.
We didn't like the fact that our server was quick to open a $12 bottled water when we asked for flat water but other than that, we had a good service.

I held a large networking event on the rooftop at Margot and I was so impressed by the ease with which I was able to coordinate plan this event with the director of events for large parties. Everything was wonderful, and we all had a great time. The food, service, and ambiance is always spectacular at Margot!

I came here around 5 PM and was surprised to find that there was no dinner menu—only a limited afternoons menu with about seven dishes. The food was very mediocre and extremely overpriced. Worst of all, the service was terrible. No one came by even once to refill our water, and they cleared away some of our dishes without asking, even though there was still food left. To top it off, the restaurant adds a 4% surcharge to your bill. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Avoid this place!

I give two star at best just for the atmosphere design. Food and service are terrible. Overpriced small shares
I’m really surprised that such a nice place could have messed up the food. Every dish came out burnt. The drinks were very good and the presentation was just as good. I can not justify paying over $150.00 for three drinks and burnt food. I am regretting not returning the food.
Parking: The place is beautiful, don’t judge a book by its cover.
Kid-friendliness: Kind but not attentive. My empty drink wait so long for a refill that I was over drinking by the time the waiter showed back up.

I wanted SO BADLY to love this place.
Atmosphere is stunning, extremely pleasant.
But the basics on the food just missed.
Pan Con Tomate:
Should be thinly sliced and toasted bread with garlic and tomato RUBBED into it. Instead this had a thick barely-toasted, fluffy piece of focaccia with tomato on top. Ingredients were good but execution was simply incorrect and the resulting flavor profile suffered. flake salt would be a nice touch here 🤌
Arugula salad:
large, non-bitter arugula and a heavy, overdressed sweet apple vinaigrette. overdressed, shouldn’t be sweet at all. this should be simple: bitter arugula, lemon, olive oil, optional vinegar, UNDERDRESS IT toss and top with parm. less is more
potatas bravas:
overall good potatoes but the campfire miracle whip disaster of an aioli was not edible for me. Too much smoke (liquid smoke not smoked paprika) felt like a leftover marshmallow from the bonfire blended into a sauce. again, an off sweetness that shouldn’t be there! simple aioli (olive oil, mayo, garlic, smoke paprika) and call it a day
bartender was great
bonus points for gender neutral washroom setup

We loved our experience here! It is seldom that you get great food , service and atmosphere. We will return. Delicious Salmon and black rice cooked to perfection.
Dietary restrictions: They could accommodate my husbands celiacs with most of the menu.
