Ordered a vegetarian caprese sandwich to-go but found out I received a double chicken with no cheese sandwich. The label on the bag says vegetarian caprese sandwich. If it was a mistake for a chicken caprese, where did the cheese go? Not even mad, just confused.

I want to share my heartfelt thanks for the incredible kindness I received today at Mendocino Farms. I came in with my three- and five-year-old boys, and like many moms know, juggling lunch and little ones can be a bit of a circus. The gentleman taking my order noticed I was struggling and immediately asked a colleague to help me get settled. They not only helped carry the boys’ scooters and find us a table but also brought our food to us with such warmth and care.
It might seem like a small act, but for a mom in the thick of it, it meant the world. Moms are so often expected to do it all without much support, so to be met with such compassion and attentiveness was genuinely moving. The gentleman who helped us today deserves recognition for how in tune he was… and how human he was. Unfortunately, I didn’t get his name. Thank you for seeing me, and for helping make our lunch a little easier and a lot kinder.
