Monroe Place gets crowded with online orders for good reason, their sandwiches are to die for. Yet, they never forget to take good care of in person orders (usually get food within 5 minutes). Definitely recommend coming in store and trying their sandwiches and meeting the amazing people who make them! Seriously unique sandwich recipes made in heaven!

First time visit. Came by at 3:10pm on a day (Friday) supposed to close at 4pm. Already closed. Sign said sold out. (Geez, of everything?!).Update (before saw initial reply from owner): Came by again the next day (Saturday), this time around 1:35pm. Was again closed early (this time sign said specifically they were sold out of bread.) Must just just missed the "sold out", because two couples were still eating at two tables (one outside). If there's ever a 3rd visit, I'll probably call the order in before arriving. I wish they were open on Sundays or later on Saturdays. Those of us who live nearby, but work further away M-F, still want to support our local businesses. But it's a tough industry, so we understand.

We discovered Monroe Place about six months ago but have been back about six times. It's not close to our home but it's a favorite and worth the drive. We tried most of the sandwiches and like them all (most of the sandwich offerings have a meat version and a similarly made but vegetarian version). The bread type for each sandwich is specified by the restaurant. It sounds a bit restrictive but works out well. The potato chips are excellent and the drinks are distinctive and tasty (I like the cardamon iced tea and my wife likes the cucumber mint lemonade). The sandwiches are good sized. There are a lot of dining options in our area but this is our go-to sandwich option.

Love this place, love these sandwiches. I stumbled on it when walking down the street, killing time while my car was getting repaired. What synchronicity that I'd find this awesome sandwich shop! I've been a customer ever since, and I'm making my mission to try every sandwich they have. I've even introduced my wife here, and she's a fan too. It can get a bit busy at lunchtime, but it's worth the squeezing between people to place an order, and honestly the wait isn't too bad.

My boyfriend loves sandwiches at best you can say I'm okay with sandwiches but this sandwich is SO delicious. I wouldn't mind eating it for lunch everyday. Can't wait to try more of their creations!

First time here. 12/6 around 2:00 pm. Greeted by smiling faces coming in. The cashier was very sweet, friendly, and helpful. The sandwich was ready fast. Ordered the Serenity Now! If you're a Seinfeld fan, then you know. Fresh, hearty, flavorful, and delicious. Looking forward to coming back!

Wow. This place is so good! Pretty quiet on a weekday around lunchtime, the person working the counter was very helpful with suggestions. I ended up accidentally ordering the wrong thing (mixed up the sandwich names- totally my fault), but they remade my sandwich which was very kind. I got the insanity later- very interesting mix of flavors with the creamy feta and avocado, brightness of the cilantro, and slight spice from the Serrano sauce. Great bread too, focaccia from bub and grandmas I think.I want to come back and try some of the other sandos.

I don't give out 5 stars so easily. I feel like I really really need to be impressed to give out 5 stars. And this place definitely deserves it. Only cons are sandwiches are pretty small and it's pricey but it's delicious!!!!!! I got the Serenity Now and my hubby got the Persimmon says and both were DELICIOUS! So much flavor in each of them! Staff was friendly and the shop is small inside. A few counter tops with limited seating inside. They told us you can use the tables and chairs infront of the coffee shop to sit on as well. If you're in the area, stop by for lunch. You won't be disappointed.
First time here and I ordered the persimmon says and WOW! Perfect balance of flavors. Such a well constructed sandwich! Jamon serrano, mint vinaigrette, persimmon, burrata, cracked black pepper, honey, pomegranate molasses, arugula on grandma's focaccia bread! Wonderful. Service was attentive and very good! They were super busy as we went during lunch, but they are pro's and get you in and out real fast. Some metered parking and not much space to sit and eat, but other than that, great place.
