I have been enjoying their food for 6 years, ever since I moved to Culver City. Their lurou noodle/rice is very nice, the cheeseburger potsticker is absolutely awesome, and the tomato sauce is among the best I have ever tasted. It's a shock to learn that they are closed now...I will deeply miss them.

Was served raw dumplings... The manager didn't like that we told her it was raw. Also tried the noodles and it was definitely subpar. Probably not coming back again

I had a mixed experience here I would say. Food was honestly very good, had good veggie options and the beef and broccoli looked worth it. Has a good amount of steak on top of the broccoli.

They also have a good selection of beverages to accompany the food.

Dirty paper menus is not the move.
We walked in at 8:25, the server didn’t seem very happy. Assuming because they closed at 9. Given the location and the great beverage options they have I would say 9 is very early to close for a place like that. They miss out on making more money and make the diner feel rushed. We were quick and left by 9:05. Definitely not the experience we were hoping for.
3 stars because when you go out and spend the extra money you want to be treated well. The server at 8:50 was closing up dragging chairs outside and getting ready to leave.

We ordered takeout and see the pictures for proof. Orange Chicken was overcooked and doughy on the outside. The Shrimp Fried Rice was not very good, and the shrimp were overcooked and placed on top. Finally, the Chicken Chow Mein was not very good and looked like leftovers. The dishes for people that dined in looked great. I found this place through an ad or something online. Never will I go here again. See pictures. They probably don't like the color of our skin. No link to post pictures of all pictures and of a very bad Mochi donut.

Had no idea this was owned by Shirley from Top Chef: New Orleans! A great first meal in the L.A. area! I highly recommend the orange chicken and chicken fried rice. The added cauliflower in the rice MADE it! :

Ms. Chi is a Culver City staple, and the food and boba make her spot a must for any occasion.

Get a boba slushee, grab some dumplings or fried rice (flavorful with the right amount of crisp ? ), and quick service every time.

It stays busy enough because folks keep coming back. I’m a fan, Ms. Chi. Keep it up.

Vegetarian options: Delicious garden potstickers, veggie fried rice, very tasty. She also does Mapo Tofu, veggie noodles, cauliflower, and more.

Parking: You can park in the Culver Blvd. underground lot, but just know that the only business that validates is Erewhon.

Try street parking, or a garage just East of the main drag, look on Maps for a garage and it’s not too pricey.

After reading a variety of reviews, but my friend having been a few times, we knew that some people were just testy. We did stay away from the chicken potstickers, and instead went with the cheeseburger ones. They were huge, and you get 3, and were very filling. We asked our awesome server Michelle, what she suggested before that. Before that, we first did the garlic "broccolini (or some veggie close to that), and it was amazing. did the Wonton/noodle soup, which was awesome. She and the other two staff (one was the husband of Ms. Chi, and he and the other gentleman were efficient and friendly). The soup was perfect on an overcast day. We lastly had one of their cinnamon sugar donuts. Overall, they were so friendly, food was great, and was a lovely experience.

We got the orange chicken and the veggie fried rice. Not too bad, but felt like it was missing something. I miss the bright orange color from a classic Chinese place. 3/5 for me

Big fans of Shirley from TOC from Canada. We were so excited to try her dumplings. The service we received from the waitress was subpar. We ordered the chicken dumplings and noticed they were pink in the middle- when we alerted her, she didn’t apologize, she asked if we wanted them re-steamed or if “we were good”. The next order we had, the chicken was pink again. She didn’t acknowledge our concerns but rather ranted about the use of a thermometer. We found this to be very unsettling and didn’t finish the chicken dumplings. Here are pictures of the second round of dumplings for reference. We did order the vegan dumplings and vegan bao, both of which were very good.Without another conversation, the waitress slapped our bill down on the table. We wanted to order mochi donuts but weren’t given the opportunity. Our expectations did not meet reality at this restaurant. Sad that the waitress ruined our experience here as we travelled far specifically to give it a try.

The food is excellent. Best fried rice you'll ever eat. The dumplings are well filled, cooked to perfection, and served with sauce. The peach Jasmin tea is delicious. The service is excellent. Fantastic.. everything!

We've been watching the 5th season of TOC, and it encouraged us to finally visit, and we were not disappointed. Food is freshly served, delicious, and every bite was tasty. Service was excellent. They were friendly, helpful, and attentive. We'll definitely be returning, Cheeseburger dumplings were our favorite. And the passion fruit yogurt smoothie was exceptional.

Parking: We parked across the way parking was $2 for the entirety of our meal, so it was completely reasonable.

I was really looking forward to this, I was the first customer in and I ordered the vegan dumplings and the vegan bar. the bao was great but I came for the dumplings and I was really disappointed to see how undercooked some of them were once I got home. the flavor was there, but raw dumplings aren't my jam.
