10/10 across the board. Currently scooping every last drop out of the Tomato Curry bowl and loving every minute. My partner and I are vegan and eating like royalty. We’ve been lucky enough to be served by Yago - charismatic, attentive and a fabulous cocktail maker. This place is a delight. Anyone giving less than 5 stars wasn’t here lowkey.
Good lord get the Brussel sprouts!

Inventive flavors, from the food to the bar. The blacklit wall of animalia is something else!

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The dessert was good but didn’t really enjoy any of the entrees we got. Maybe we had bad luck but likely will not be returning.

We went to their happy hour a couple of times within the past few months. Pork jowls are a favorite of ours. The sauce is vinegar but not overpowering. The pork jowls are sliced thin and cooked perfectly so they are crispy and melt in your mouth. They have frozen slushy drinks with unique flavors. The one that day was being used in the free spiked lemonade day in downtown Culver. It had coconut, ginger, lemon, turmeric, cayenne flavors and the texture of the ice was very smooth. We always like to get the pickle butter with sourdough. The waiter told us the chef makes this every day fresh. It is my husband's favorite menu item. Servers were very friendly and helpful. They were very nice about getting us stamp cards for the lemonade day. The place can get busy, especially during happy hour/dinner time, but we've always been able to get in without reservations on weekday evenings.

I came here for the first time. Great ambiance. Very nice decor. They have inside and outside seating. Heat lamps for outside. We went for happy hour. Good selection of items. I ordered the crispy wings which were very good. I had them put the california reaper chilli sauce on the side because I wasn't sure how spicy it was going to be. I was slightly disappointed with the pork pieces mixed with ponzu sauce dish. The pork slices were on the thinner side almost like large thin pieces of bacon. I think if they were thicker cuts they would be much better and tastier. The slushy rum drink is strong so if you're looking for a quick buzz then this is the drink for you. I also ordered the Jade cucumber drink with kiwi and that one was delicious. Servers were super friendly and attentive. Overall I really liked this place. Next time I'll try the other dishes.

I’ve had some really great food here but also some food that wasn’t great. It depends what you get, but there are definitely some gems on the menu :) I think the things I liked were the papaya salad, grilled pork belly, crispy rice salad, and something else I can’t remember.

Nice ambiance. It was easy enough to order items via the restaurant website while sitting our your table, but that made the service feel impersonal. We tried a bunch of things on the menu and they were somewhat tasty, but the flavors were "one note"... like they used the same sauce for all the dishes. And that sauce was a bit too ketchup-like for my taste. The textures were OK, but the flavors could have been much more varied & elevated.

Brussels sprouts and Caesar salad were our favorites. The service is a bit weird. You order yourself on your phone. Felt weird at a pricey restaurant to not have a waiter taking your order.

Really love this place - the food is amazing and the drinks are tasty. However, the new order/pay from your phone option kind of killed the vibe and charm of this place. It totally bummed me out and felt very impersonal :/

2nd time here and it’s off the charts!Love the Asian fusion food - don’t miss these two items, green papaya salad and miso pork jowl! Everything is delicious - literally. The atmosphere is incredible, fun colors, low lighting and jungle animals lurking. Fun and funky spot with sophisticated flavors make Piccalilli a great place to check out!
