This wasn't our first rodeo here, but it was the final act for Prima Donna, so a return visit only made sense. We kicked things off with the octopus, lamb chops, and spicy vodka pasta—each dish was superb, with flavors hitting all the right notes. The drinks were, as always, on point. Our server, Kory, was an absolute delight, full of energy. The DJ kept the vibe going all night with great throwback jams. It was perfect!

It was amazing, lovely quiet space, amazing view of the kitchen, however the service felt rushed and it seemed like they were more on top of clearing the table of empty dishes than the actual server checking in on you

It was our first time to “Prima Donna” restaurant. My husband and I live in Palm Springs; we were in the area for a friend's art showing and chose your restaurant because of its nearby, convenient location ( the art gallery is right down the street). Everything about your restaurant was top-notch. The service, the ambience ( we were seated outside on your patio). I ordered a kale salad that we shared which was delicious! I had the Margarita pizza ( one of the best I've tasted in a long time!), my husband had the meatballs with bread which he devoured. Our server was extremely personable, and attentive. We would definitely return to your restaurant! I give our experience at your restaurant a five out of five stars!

Was here for Dine LA Tuesday July 16th and for a bday party - The tasting menu was a good way to give the restaurant a test with 4 people ordering off of it- The octopus was my favorite - the two pasta dishes were both on point and the hanger steak pretty good - My meat could have been a bit more tender but all and all it was just fine. The deserts of a pistachio cake and the sorbet were both very nice as well. For me the octopus was the standout but everything else was in the B+ range with the hanger steak falling to a B-. The only weak part of the entire evening was the parking situation - we parked in public parking and it was $16 for TWO HOURS> WHAT A RIPOFF and left us wondering why and how - deftly not how you want to leave the experience. Not sure if valet was less money but it could not have been more!

This place is SOOOO good!!! Our waiter recommended both the branzino and the lobster pasta and my goodness, those were good dishes! Both were packed with flavor and delicious!!! The branzino was perfectly cooked and the lobster oasta was seasoned to perfection! Our waiter also recommended the lemon pistachio cake. I usually don’t like lemon desserts but I put all of my faith in our waiter’s recommendations since he was spot on with the mains. And boy was he right!! That cake was moist and the lemon flavor was subtle that I didn’t even mind it. Ugh I wish I was there again tonight for another meal!

Don’t get the prawns which weren’t good at all. This dish wasn’t recommended by the waiter so we should’ve known not to get them lol

This place is so beautiful! We sat outside and all the green surrounding us was lovely. There was a DJ but it still wasn't too loud. The food was delicious! We had the yellowtail curdo with Sicilian olivada, the kale Cesar, Tara Donna pasta, the spaghetti lobster pasta and finished with the lemon pistachios cake! Favorites: The curdo was perfectly balanced with the Freshness of the yellowtail and the light saltiness of olivada. Lobster spaghetti was flavorful and the lobster cooked perfectly! That Lemon pistachios cake !!! AMAZING! I'm not into dessert because they can be too sweet for my liking but this cake was perfect! Definitely going back !

Honestly this a slightly worse version of Etta. Same tableware, decor, etc but the food is all a little worse. Recommend skipping the pizza entirely. Highlight, however, was definitely the cocktails!

Food is way to average for the price. There are much better restaurants that offer better value or food quality. Also had an incredibly overpriced valet stand compared to other fine dining restaurants in the city. Likely will not go back.

Should've kept the last restaurant there. Food was sub-par - everything tasted burnt. Octopus was burnt, tortellini was both hot and cold, and the gnocchi had no balance and the veg part was so overpowering/burnt tasting, it wasn't edible. Place won't last long

WHAT A FUN EXPERIENCE. Wow all of their food is incredible. From appetizers to entrees everything was so good. The octopus was to die for. I had the Lobster Spaghetti and it was just wow. We will most definitely be back.

Our only complaint is the size of the table we (party of 4) were seated at. It was too small to fit all the drinks and the dishes we ordered. Made it not as enjoyable as it should have been.

Pretty bummed that Etta closed down BUT Prima Donna is great! Pretty much everything we ordered was great across multiple courses. Also loved their mocktails.

Food was completely aweful. Unedible. Disgusting. It's the worst restaurant food I had in over 15 years of eating out multiple times per week.
We took 3 hot appetizers and 2 main dishes. None of them tasted fresh. I doubt anything is cooked to order - it was barely warm inside, dried out, drowning in oil and butter.
I literally had a sick stomach after eating there.

Most all of the main dishes and the appetizers are tasty. My only problem is the size for the cost $$$. I don't mind paying good money for good food, but I feel that the portions are definitely on the small side but still tasty and pricey! It's definitely worth a try. It can be more reasonable if you just got a pizza and a salad and shared it. But most of the good mixed drinks are in the neighborhood of $16-$20 each. If you don't mind spending extra this may be a good pick for you.
