We would eat at Roberta's at least once or twice a week if we lived closer by. The food is so delicious and the options cover quite a wide variety of tastes. Though they are best known for their pizzas, I absolutely love their cheeseburger with smashed potatoes. Other highlights are the green salad, the sunchokes, Japanese sweet potatoes, meatballs, and the bread. Oh my, the bread is something I dream of. It's like a soft pillow of bread nirvana. Mmmmm
I went for Happy Hour.
The Famous Original pizza was slightly spicy but was excellent pizza for $24.
The Green Lettuces turned out to be an excellent salad with all the crunchy texture. Really loved this item.

The server was friendly and professional and made us feel welcome. Food was great - try the bee sting pizza! Excellent beer choices too. And we were able to bring our dog because there's outdoor seating and heat lamps to keep us warm.
3rd time in a row I’ve been disappointed. The product (food) is great, the service is not.

Loved the pizza. Dough had the right chew for my liking. Pasta was fresh and tasty. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Had family in town and we decided to go to Roberta's for lunch. Food was very good. We started with the bread with homemade butter...to die for!! So yummy! Japanese sweet potatoes were good too. Also had two different pizzas (Margherita & we added mushrooms) and then one with sausage. Both were delicious. Definitely recommend this place and I will be back!
I went here with a friend for dinner. I ordered a pizza, they ordered a pasta. My pizza came out first so we waited for my friends pasta to also arrive. 20 minutes later, the pasta was still not at the table. When I asked the manager who was passing by, she very condescendingly replied “Pastas always tend to take longer.” Umm yea no joke it does, which is why the kitchen should have planned both items to arrive at least close to each other. The idea is to have dinner together and not one after the other…like that’s basic knowledge for any restaurant. The attitude just baffled me.
I ordered the ribs, and they were truly terrible. They were so small dry and burnt, I questions who thought that was okay to serve. They were laughably bad. We were there for two hours and barely saw our server, and they forgot my fiancé’s food, and the rest of the food took an hour and a half. The pastas tasted fine, nothing to write home about though. Also they told us they don’t do a waitlist, and that we should just linger around the hostess and she’ll see if we can have a table. The only good part of my groups experience were the drinks, which were all very tasty and came out promptly. I can deal with long wait times when it’s busy, but when you never bring out someone’s food after they’ve been there for two hours that’s unacceptable. Also how bad the ribs were was unacceptable. One of them was just char.

I'm writing this review with genuine disappointment. The experience at Roberta's in Culver City was poor from start to finish. The customer service was severely lacking, from the hostess who didn't offer a single smile or friendly greeting to our server who was both pretentious and unprofessional. It was incredibly unappreciated and unnecessary when they decided to ridicule my food preferences.
The menu itself was very limited, which is a significant problem if you have any kind of food restrictions. As for the food, my burger was of very bad quality—it felt like it was made without any care and had gristle in it. The side of potatoes were just as disappointing, lacking any crispiness or flavor.
Given the combination of poor service and disappointing food, I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

A hidden pizza spot in Culver City. There is no free parking so keep that in mind. For two pizzas plus tip we paid $70. We both enjoyed our pizza but I can't say they're with a definite wow factor or that I would come back. So if you're not on a budget, definitely stop in here. The staff is super attentive and friendly. We did happen to come in when it was rather slow so I don't know how it'll be when it is busy.

I had a craving and wanted to introduce another friend to this gem. This is the third friend I introduced to this restaurant and they have all loved it! We had amazing service from Michelle and wonderful food. We had leftovers, which I devoured the next day, and they were just as awesome. I told my husband that we will have to carb out soon when he's feeling up to a cheat on his strict low-sugar low-carb diet. Can't wait to come back!!!!
We love this place. Every fruit or vegetable dish we've tried has been incredible. And the pizzas! The sungold made my eyes roll back in my head, and then the beesting was somehow even better. And whatever drink I had with the raspberry almond will be my order again next time.

Every time I am in town I think about making it to Roberta’s to try the prosciutto that I’ve heard so much about. Finally made that happen and it was by far the BEST prosciutto I’ve had! The house bread was a great surprise; as was their take on a Caesar.
But things went down hill for me once the Cacio e Pepe arrived. The portion was extremely small. I inquired and was told that their pasta dishes are “on the smaller side” and that this was the portion - 5 oz. wt. $22 For 5 oz.? No. And this was the least expensive pasta entree.
I was offered $5.00 off my meal, which ended up being less than 5% of my check. And here’s the worst part. The flavor was amazing, but the pasta was not cooked enough. I fully understand al dente - this was undercooked. Like, stick-to-your-teeth undercooked. So, overall, a just ok experience for me. I would probably return for the Salumi, a signature cocktail, and the ambiance/service.

They charged us $16 for a red pepper flake glass container that our daughter dropped and broke. It probably cost them $1-2. Prob not going back there for that kind of markup…
Roberta’s never disappoints! The pizza was absolutely amazing — perfectly crisp, flavorful, and worth every bite. We also started with the stracciatella appetizer, and it was just as incredible. Creamy, fresh, and so satisfying. Between the pizza and the apps, it’s clear Roberta’s knows how to deliver a standout dining experience. Can’t wait to go back!
