My favorite type of no b.s. diner. No gimmicks, no show. Great food and cash only. The best places on earth are cash only. I get to sit there and roll my eyes as all the douchebags who start to fumble around when they realize they don’t have cash to pay for their food, pure entertainment.

Sorry for no pictures. I was so disappointed I didn't event want to capture the food. This place was mid at best. The only thing going for this place is the ambiance and the nice diner aesthetic in a city like Culver City. The food was .. not seasoned and cold despite the diner not being full? That should have been the first red flag. We ordered the Two Eggs and Country Chicken and the Two Egg and Bacon - both with hash browns. We also got a half order of French toast. The country chicken was breaded but it lacked so much seasoning. The hash browns on my plate were super oily and cold. I usually am a sucker for diner hash browns but I was disappointed after the first bite. They were overdone and crunchy all throughout. The bacon and eggs were cold, they did not taste fresh at all The French toast tasted like it was only dipped in eggs and cooked. And then left on the counter for half an hour. It was not giving French toast flavor at all. My partner, however actually did like the French toast so maybe it was just me. The service was fine. We ordered a Sam's Special Coffee and never got it (however we weren't charged so yay I guess)

Homemade hash is weird. Dont get it. They gave me a card which said decaffeinated for the coffee refills and then NEVER came back once to refill it. Granted it was busy but still. Average experience.

Service is excellent, I love the servers there, especially the brunette with braids and nose piercings! I didn't get your name but you're awesome! The aesthetic inside is super cute and vintagey. The perfect place for brunch. The food just came out very slow which is why I knocked a star off but I was also there when it was pretty busy!

Came here with a friend for a quick breakfast and coffee. As soon as we sat down the waitress brought us menus and asked if we wanted some water and coffee and brought those right away. When we were ready she came and took our orders and everything came out quite fast. While we were seated she came by several times to make sure we had coffee and refilled the water. I always appreciate places that make sure your water is always topped up.The food is average.. nothing really stood out, but it works for what we wanted a nice quiet place for a quick breakfast. One thing to keep in mind is that this place is cash only, but if you don't have enough on you like we didn't, there is an ATM from Chase right across the street. So come prepared.

Food was really disappointing, the pancakes tasted like oil and were really flat. Seems like they charge for every coffee refill too, ordered 2 plates and a coffee with one refill and was charged $50+. Really not worth it.

Heard so many good things about this place just to realize when we got there it was cash only but it didn't even have an ATM so we just went to the next brunch spot! They wanted me to go \the bank across the street but I saw another brunch spot and stopped there instead. Not impressed.

This place was a Culver City staple. The spot to get a solid breakfast; everyone visited as a local. But it has not aged well. The service this last time around was a bitter disappointment. My 9 year old was quick to point it out. Dad she was a little rude (server lady). The service people made this place vibrant at one point, but it has lost its touch. It's tired, the people have lost their joy with customers. I hope they turn it around for nostalgia sake, for those of who grew up in Culver City and hope it can thrive again. I felt sad. I've visited so many times, and I think that was my last.
