Leslie truly blessed our night. My boyfriend and I feel extremely grateful — and honestly, just so blessed. We wanted to give her a special shout-out, but we’ve also noticed how kind and welcoming everyone at this location is.
Thank you for always making our experiences here so wonderful.

Oil based ice cream. Unique flavor options, not my type. I believe they have vegan options.
I love not feeling shame for trying different flavors. I usually keep it to two at a time even though there's a giant sign on the wall that says to try all of them. Pear and Bleu Cheese was a weird one for me, even though I'm usually a fan of the cheese. Anyway, I tried their S&S x Taco Bell collab: Tacolate. The sauce packets were a fun twist, but I still prefer a choco taco.
We decided to drop into Salt & Straw in Culver City for an after movie ice cream treat. We were intrigued by the Halloween flavors they were showcasing this month:
The Great Candycopia
Jack o'Lantern Pumpkin Bread
Double Bubble Toil and Trouble
Creepy Crawly Critters
Essence of Ghost
Customer service provided by Edison was top notch! He greeted us warmly and told us about the month’s themed flavors. We tasted each one. He was very patient and helpful as we decided on our flavors, out of the many tasty options.
Highly Recoommend because of the excellent customer service and the variety of unique ice cream flavors. Such a lovely way to cap off a wonderful evening!
P.S. They will also validate parking if you parked in the nearby lot (the theatre does not).
One of the great Salt & Straw locations. Service is friendly and efficient, and you can sample as many flavors as you’d like before deciding. The ice cream is delicious — I always recommend getting the waffle cone, it really elevates the experience. I’d skip the whipped cream though; I expected it to be freshly made, but it came from a spray can.
Parking in the area is quite convenient — there are public parking garages nearby where the first 90 minutes are free, and it’s only a few dollars per hour after that. Street parking is available too, though a bit trickier and metered depending on the time of day.
I usually don't like lavender flavor but it's good!
For weird flavors, it’s this and Van Leeuwin’s, full stop, plus a handful of little indie shops scattered across the country. I was a fan of the apple and cheese cinnamon roll and not a fan of the pickle sherbet (you’ll love it if you love sweet pickles) but ended up with the strawberry balsamic black pepper. They will actually let you try everything, even with long lines, and are very nice about it.
The ice cream is so sweet I couldn’t get the flavor. This is the second time I’ve had a bad experience at this store. I don’t think they’ll be another one. The first time I went, the person skipped over myself and my 12 year-old child. She didn’t apologize-another staff member did.
This time, I was asked, not once, not twice, but three times if I threw her spoon out when she saw me being fed by my date.
She was so rude about it, almost insistent that we couldn’t cash out, so controlling over the situation. I’m over 50 and I’m having this 20 something with a terrible personalityWorry about a baby spoon!
Please train your staff to have better manners and use their brains for customer service not for rude behavior.
They always have the most interesting and tasty flavor combinations. I like how friendly the workers are.
This location does get busy so be prepared to wait.
Delicious ice cream with plenty of vegan options (that are actually creamy in texture instead of tasting like shaved ice)! They have a number of flavors that rotate regularly, as well as some staples.
The staff are friendly and willing to let you sample as much as you like while letting you take your time.
The lines can get long during peak days & times, but to be expected.

Vic was awesome! The store was crazy busy but everyone was calm and relaxed and super friendly! Vic went above and beyond and delivered exceptional service with a smile and a huge dollop of personality. Thanks Vic, an experience we won’t forget it a hurry. You made our night. 🥰
My new favorite ice cream spot!!
Plethora of different and delicious flavors.. some of which sound a little off but don’t shy away from tasting them. Superb and super friendly staff, especially Michael!!
Cinnamon is sooo aromatic and refreshing! Honey Lavender is different but worth giving it a try!
Delicious dessert spot in the Culver Steps area. I got a single split with the Chocolate Gooey Brownie and the Huckleberry Cornbread Pudding. Both were delicious.
Service was quick, the wait was only 5-10 minutes for a Saturday night. Location is really good too. Highly recommend checking this place out.
