Me and my husband placed an order here, and after waiting 25 minutes, my husband politely asked the owner how much longer our food would take. He was completely ignored. He then asked three different workers, and they ignored him too. By the time he lost his patience and raised his voice, demanding an answer, the owner’s only response was to hold out his hand for the receipt—like we were the problem.

At that point, it had already been 35 minutes, and we noticed people who ordered after us had received their food 15 minutes earlier. When we finally saw them just throwing our food on the grill, we asked for our money back. They did refund us, but once again—no words, no apology, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience.

Terrible service. Don’t come here if you want to be treated with basic respect. For $65, this experience was absolutely not worth it. Support other small businesses instead of this one.

Otdered Teriyaki chicken , light sauce . Went to wash my hands, git back in 3 mins abd food was ready. They served me a canceled order super dry chicken, added teriyaki for “ fresh” look and rice and noodles turned into a gooey mass. Nastiest food I have ever been served. I wish they had 0 stars. 1 star is too much for such a place.

I like the chicken. Service is good. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the sushi. It fell apart so easily. The sushi rice was dry.

I have been a customer almost 8years from the Westfield culvercity mall location. Today when I was trying to order chicken teriyaki vegrtsble only combo for my son, the cashier was asking me to pay extras and doesn't even listen properly what the order is. I keep telling him again and again but he is saying I don't care you have to pay extra. He was the most Arrogance and disrespectful person I encounter. I am so disappointed with his service at this location. Be advised to correct his behavior or else's I will report to whom it may concern.

Sarku is a staple! Love their bento boxes.

My sister was visiting from Hawaii and we were hungry while shopping and decided to head back to Sarku to get some fuel!

We miss the Japanese food back home and this hit the spot.

They always find a way to charge you more. If you ask to take out the rice from the plate they charge you. If you ask for small soda they always dont have the small size just large. If you ask for a bowl which is offered, they never have available making you buy a plate. Just dont go, for what they serve, anywhere you can get the same for the same price.
