Pictured is the Green Curry with brown rice from the lunch special. It was very filling and tasted great. The brown rice was not your normal brown rice, I felt it tasted better and was more filling and it tasted more nutritious. The vegetables were fresh and crisp and the curry sauce was delicious.

It’s better than average but nothing wowed me. I agree with other reviews about the underwhelming portion sizes. We ordered medium spice level which was too mild for our taste.

I don't normally review food but this place is overly priced and gives so little food for the price that I had to come here and share this info. Not cool to pay more than you would at other places but get far less food. The containers were tiny and food wasn't even filled up all the way. If you value, "value", skip this place. Food was good but not worth the price in my opinion.

Place average. Not enough food. Server waitress host. Miserable attitude or something. It's like they want you to spend a lot of money buying alcohol or something.

I used to come here many years ago. I decided to order delivery from here after all this time. The lunch special yellow curry chicken came with rice, salad, and 2 cream cheese won tons. The curry was very thin and bland. The pad woon sen with shrimp was much better and tasty with lots of ingredients. I'd order that again but not the yellow curry.

Thai iced tea was so good!! Great place for a nice date. I love that they have a fish tank inside!

Coming in from Hawaii, I visited my mom for the day in Los Angeles. She took us to this quaint little Thai restaurant off Sepulveda. My mom is extremely picky about Thai food (us being Thai) so I knew this would be a good choice. It is also "kid friendly "so it won't be too spicy for those that don't want spicy.I ordered pad kee mao medium and ate maybe half of it because I didn't want to fall asleep driving back to San Diego (conference). It was delicious and I added extra peppers. I ordered a Thai coffee which was also good. My nieces all had different items and seem to enjoy it especially the noodle soup. My friend had the pad Thai and loved it said it doesn't taste like the one in Hawaii (where we live). We came on a Friday evening and it was not busy. Parking is in the back and although it was limited we did not have a problem with two cars.

This restaurant has tasty food. But unfortunately, our service was very poor. I had reserved a table for five, and we arrived a few minutes early and sat down. There were two waters already at the table, but no one came to our table, let alone bring us three more waters or ask if we wanted them! Menus were already there at each place setting, but no server appeared to take our order. I had to call someone over! I had to ask for service! This is not right. As soon as people sit down at a table, a server should appear to greet them. It was not that crowded, and the restaurant is very small. I was really shocked at this poor service. We finally got appetizer orders placed, and those were brought out without too much delay. When the main course meals came, they brought three, then one more, and then one more. I don’t think that’s right, either. All the meals should come at the same time. This is a small restaurant, as I said, and it was not that crowded, so there is no reason we should’ve had any problem. Perhaps they were shortstaffed, but someone should’ve come to our table right away, even if just to tell us that we might have to wait a little bit for more service. The customer always comes first! I hope their service improves.

Swanya Thai Food has completely won me over with their incredible flavors and authentic Thai cuisine. From the moment I stepped into this cozy restaurant, I knew I was in for a treat. But it was their red curry that truly stole my heart! The red curry at Swanya Thai Food is a masterpiece. Bursting with aromatic spices and a perfect balance of heat, it is a culinary delight that leaves you wanting more with every bite. The tender chunks of meat (or tofu, if you prefer) are cooked to perfection and are complemented by the creamy coconut milk base. The addition of fresh vegetables and fragrant Thai basil truly elevates this dish to another level. The presentation of the red curry is just as impressive as its taste. Served in a traditional Thai bowl, the vibrant colors and rich aromas immediately transport you to the streets of Thailand. The portion size is generous, ensuring that you leave the restaurant feeling satisfied and content. The service at Swanya Thai Food is top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to offer suggestions or answer any questions you may have. They create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like a valued guest. In addition to the red curry, Swanya Thai Food offers an extensive menu with a variety of other mouthwatering Thai dishes. I've had the pleasure of trying their pad Thai and green curry as well, and they were equally as delicious. The menu caters to all dietary preferences, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available. The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, with beautiful Thai decorations adorning the walls. Whether you're dining alone, with a loved one, or with a group of friends, Swanya Thai Food provides the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience.Overall, Swanya Thai Food is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it can get. With their exceptional red curry and a menu full of tantalizing options, this restaurant truly captures the essence of Thai cuisine. If you're a fan of Thai food or simply looking to explore new flavors, Swanya Thai Food is an absolute must-visit. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! Also! Happy hour is 3pm to 6pm!
