Worst Jamaican restaurant in LA. Family run. Cashier has nasty attitude. I would not recommend this place to a dog.

Wow! This place is a low-key spot that has the hits! I was in the area with a friend and wanted something quick and easy to eat. He recommended this place. I ordered two chicken curry empenadas (one to eat there and one for later). It was PERFECTION... fresh and hot, with a flaky light crust, the filling prepared with the perfect amount of seasoning. They were so good, I ate both of them in the parking lot! I'm still thinking about them, tempting me to brave the freeway system from Glendale to Culver City. Not expensive, very satisfying, just good food made with pride. The place was clean and smelled amazing. I haven't had Jamaican food in over two decades, but I'm not going to wait that long to come back to this establishment. If you want to support a small family business, eat some delicious fresh food, and not break the bank, this is the spot!

Issa no for me as well. Food is aight let me break down what I got and you decide if it was work $34 I got a brown stewed chicken meal with a side order of bread and some sour sop juice…..$34? Nall I’m from the area and Ackee Bamboo is relocating to just right on the street! Also Incould have gotten 2 full oxtail meals from Country in Inglewood for that price and it would have been overflowing with oxtails. Save your money drive to your favorite place and forget this one

The best Jamaican food ever served. Everything is fresh hot and full of flavor

I go here maybe a couple times a month, today was not a good at all the curry chicken was absolutely No favor at all. $20.00 wasted. No favor at all the rice and the chicken tasted like water. I don't understand why, most of the time the food is very favorable :(

We ordered the goat curry and jerk chicken to-go. Also 2 patties. We didn’t get our rice or veggies when it comes with.
They said they would be ready in 15 minutes from the time we called. We arrived 30 minutes after, and we still had to wait another 20 minutes.
Food was okay.

Saw this place nearby and decided to try out the jerk chicken sandwich. The cashier gave me attitude the whole time and decided to round up the bill to the nearest dollar above?

She then decided I wouldn’t get served my simple sandwich until multiple other people came in, placed an order, and received their food. After about 20-25 mins wait for my sandwich, she looks at me watching them make other people’s orders and tells me it’ll be another minute and it’s totally coming out then. After another 5-10 mins my sandwich was finally done, and it was alright, but I’m not sure what I did to receive all this attitude when all I said was “Hi, I’d like to order a jerk chicken sandwich”.

I suspect it was because I didn’t look like a local.

Authentic Caribbean food. I order jerk salmon with rice and peas and cabbage. I also ordered a veggie patty and a fish patty, the veggie patty was so good. The prices were okay. The location is easily accessible. I like that they have a wide variety of food especially because I don’t eat meat.

I love this place... You just have to be sure that when you order extra festival that you spell it out to the lady because they always mix it up with vegetables.

This was the least tastiest Jamaican food I’ve ever ordered. I ordered the oxtail and it had many tiny bones and did not have a great flavor. Overall the customer service was good but the food was lackluster. I would suggest going elsewhere for food.
