Hand roll spot with dry aged fish inside the Citizen Public Market. Came here for dinner with a friend and we both ordered the small set (4 pieces). We were able to replace the lean roll with a different fish. Our server was super nice and we enjoyed our meal. It operates like it’s a sit down spot so you pay after the meal, rather than at the counter like at other stalls in the market.

Stopped by. The white fish of the day was Cobia. They described it to me perfectly. I appreciated their extensive knowledge of the dishes. I explained that I wanted white fish but it sounded too aggro for me. They offered to sear it, saying it would completely change the texture. It did! And it was so delicious. Looking forward to my next seared cobia hand roll.

We went here randomly and the chef was so helpful in making sure all of the food we ordered was gluten free. Everything was so delicious! Great spot.

Terrible experience. One of the staff was only wearing one glove and used their bare hand to wipe surfaces—then touched the food right after. That’s disgusting and completely unhygienic.
The seats were super uncomfortable, most of the drinks were out of stock, and the menu had barely any variety. We ordered edamame, which they forgot to bring out, and when they finally did, it was cold and clearly not fresh.
To top it all off, they automatically added a 16% service charge and expected tips on top of that. For this level of service? No thanks.
Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

The hand rolls are so good! The fish is fresh and the rice is warm! The service is great. Everyone is friendly and professional. Try the miso soup and edamame too; so tasty! Sitting at the bar is a cool experience.

Came here on a Thursday night, bar was full but I was able to get seated at a table right away. Everything was delicious! I wish I took photos but I devoured my hand rolls as soon as they came out. I had the spicy tuna, fatty tuna, chu toro, and tartare. Service was amazing as well! Erik, Andrea and Arthur made eating here even better with how friendly and welcoming they were!
Superb service! The food was so good I didn't get any pics cuz I devoured it as soon as it came out My favs are def the spicy tuna & chu toro zuke they melted in my mouth. The edamame w/ chili butter furikake wasn't as spicy as I was thought but the flavor profile was soooo good it actually made perfect sense. Of course the miso was perfect to sip between hand rolls! Andrea, Arthur & Erik made the whole experience so personal & fun, def come thru on Thursday's to see the dream team :)!

So glad we decided to stop by! It was our first time here and everything was amazing. The food was great and fresh, and the service was even better. I got the small OG set with 4 hand rolls, and each one was delicious. Every roll's flavor seemed to build on the previous one. The staff was really attentive and made sure my sister and I had a great experience. Definitely recommend, and would be back, especially for those baller rolls!
