Excellent service and good food, but over priced even for fine dining in LA. $110 for a piece of grilled fish? The dining room was so chilly people were complaining, and we had to keep our jackets on for most of our dinner. The valet parking was understaffed as well. Overall, a disappointing experience and I won't be going back. $140 for a weeknight dinner (including 2 glasses of very nice wine, to be fair) is just a bit much for solid-but-not-special food, no matter how pretty the room or good the service.

Great anniversary dinner at this restaurant. All the drinks and food are awesome, had a great time!

Extremely disappointing. My wife and I were looking for somewhere to have dinner for Valentine's Day (we're not huge on the holiday, so weren't looking for anything out of the ordinary) and had seen online that they had a pre-fixed menu at $55 per person, so we figured we'd give the place a shot. We had a reservation (took them about 10 minutes to seat us after our reservation time, a bit annoying, but no big deal), and when we eventually sat down, we saw that the pre-fixed menu had been nearly doubled in price for Valentine's Day at $95 per person. Again, a bit annoying, but since you could still order off the regular menu, no big deal. Then the food came. Out of the 6 dishes we ordered, 5 of them were either “meh”, bland, or genuinely off. The chicken kebab was stringy, chewy and lukewarm. The fattoush was completely unseasoned and essentially just raw onions and green bell peppers. The hummus was so bitter (worst hummus I've personally ever had). The zatar fries tasted like they'd been shipped in from McDonalds... even the Negroni I got was bad (way too much vermouth, womp womp). The only “okay” things that came out were the halloumi and the pita. When I mentioned all of this offhand to the server (who was nice enough, but not all that attentive given that we ate less than half of everything and he didn't flag that we weren't enjoying our meal at all) he spoke with the kitchen and did come back to offer us a free dessert. As disappointed as we were in the dinner, we weren't going to attempt any more food from them, so we politely declined. I assumed instead that he would at least take an item off the tab, but alas. The full bill still came. Baffling stuff. The only other positive: even though the vibe inside is a little scene-y and bare, they've got excellent lighting 👌 I guess that's enough to bump them to 2-Stars? Final Note: there's no reason to go here when you've got the (always flawless) Bacari literally right down the street.

First time here and we'll definitely be back. The food was incredible, and the staff especially our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful. The only downside was that the fish took quite a while to come out. We had mentioned ahead of time that we needed to leave by 8:20, and it arrived right at 8:20, so we didn't get the chance to really savor it. That said, it was absolutely incredible and worth the wait..

I have eaten in Zeytenya in DC for 20years. The food is incredible. Culver its location had simplified boring menu. Nothing interesting was on the menu. All dishes that made it uniquely Zeytanya were not there. Everything in LAis overpriced and portions were too small even for tapas place.

Great food and beverage service. The staff made you feel very welcome and taken care of, right from the start.

Zaytinya was one of my favorites when I lived in DC and I was so excited when they opened an LA outpost. Love!

Ambiance is great, dim lighting and a cool vibe. Patio was dead or we would've sat out there. Service was on the slow side. And while the dim lighting creates a cool vibe, we could not see our food unless we used the lights from our phones. Not sure what the solve is there. The menu is fairly small, and everything we had was delicious! I would have appreciated a rice dish alternative to the giant $48 rice, but we got fries as our starch and they were great. Overall, I'd recommend Zaytinya.

Consistently soooo good. The food is delish, prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly and prompt, without ever feeling rushed. I keep going back over and over again and it never disappoints.

Went on a Wednesday night with reservations and was seated right away. The restaurant is cozy and service was excellent. Everyone from the host, servers to the doorman were helpful. Food was delicious and don't pass up on dessert

We were disappointed, so sorry to say. The waite staff was not knowledgeable about the wine nor the menu, we had to ask for drinks after waiting for sometime. Just not the sharpest for this caliber of restaurant. No validated parking.

Food was excellent! It's a good idea to stagger your order so that they don't bring all of your food to you immediately.

Best meal of the year -unsurpassed in service and magnificent food variety, originality and taste! A MUST for people searching for an amazing dining experience created by an inspired chef and an exceptional humanitarian. It is an honor to praise and give thanks for all he does for the LA patrons locally and the world at large. The meal you have at Zaytinya will be an unforgettable one!
