85°C Bakery Cafe - Cupertino

Terrible service. I picked up my birthday cake today. They told me that they can’t find my cake and just let me wait there for 20 minutes. I was almost late for my birthday party. Don’t recommend here

85 C is one of my favorite Asian bakery chains! Some of my favorites are the premium milk bread and the walnut raisin multigrain. I also think their egg tarts are some of the best. I’m sure the drinks are fine, but I never order them.

Nice clean location. Great helpful staff. Pastries are the usual tasty and irresistible. Awesome to have this location since the Millpitas store closed. The chocolate mousse is really good 👍.

Always a solid stop—everything tastes fresh and the drinks are consistently delicious. I just wish they had the strawberry danishes more often; they’re my favorite but always seem to be sold out! Still, the variety of pastries and quality overall keep me coming back. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving a sweet treat or a well-made drink.

One of the best place for desert lovers.

I was visiting the area on 1/19, and had an egg tart here around noon. It tasted lemony, which I didn't think anything of at the time. My stomach started aching soon after. I believe the egg tart was spoiled.

I highly recommend 85 bakery! The prices are incredibly affordable, and the food is delicious. Compared to places like Paris Baguette, where a single loaf of bread can cost around $5 and isn’t always great, here you can get items for as low as $3 each, and they taste amazing. My 4 years old boy love their custard bun and ham and cheese. Sometimes I just pack him one for lunch. Save my time cooking him lunch

As you can see from my photos, I got all of this for just $25, and it fed us for a couple of days’ worth of breakfast. If you’re looking for quality and value, this place is definitely worth checking out!

If you are using the bakery gift card, be aware! Try to use all the available balance at once. I highly suspect some of the cashiers there scam customers’ gift card balance. It happened to me twice already. I used a $35 gift card there, spent around $20 both times. The next day when I got there to use the gift card, the balance was zero. I had the card in my possession at all time. It only left to the cashier there to scam customers on their gift card balance.
They need to do a better screening on their employees

For the bakery owner, I have sent the inquiry to the customer service portal, and am happy to help you look into this further. I'm very sure its not a misunderstanding, but rather a gift card scam indeed, as it has happened to me twice.
