Lobster bisque had amazing depth of flavors - through the richness I could taste the refreshing yuzu jelly coming through. My husband loved the popcorn crab - large pieces of crab and nicely flavored/fried batter. Our son loved the truffle fries and cotton candy. The yuzu lemonade was delicious. Our main dish was the domestic bone-in ribeye in a cedar box with special smoke. The steak was done medium rare, done perfectly (except the bone area was more rare but that made a good leftover to take home to reheat). Steak had a nice faint peppercorn flavor on the outside. The steak was tender and flavorful. Our server was very courteous, knowledgeable, and responsive. Our visit to Alexander's for my birthday was very special and memorable!

How the steak is cooked can make or break your experience. Last time it was perfect, this time it was not. That's been my experience with this place every time.

Loved the staff and how engaging they are in helping you experience your food. What I didn't like is the food generally for the price. Appetizers were well priced but the stake was just too much fat with fluff on how its served than the taste. Dessert was a total waste of money (banana) something. Please eat dessert elsewhere but the cottoncandy was a great add for the smile

We had a reservation for 5:30 and were seated quickly. The server was very nice and efficient. The food was delicious. We had the Hamachi, Scallops and Lamb Lollypops for appetizers followed by the Wedge Salad and Lobster Bisque. For entree my husband had the New York aged steak with lobster tail and I had the Matsusaka Wagyu. Pricy but worth every bite. So luscious and tender. Yummm. I did the Brussels sprouts and we shared the truffle fries. OMG - those were outstanding. So crispy and the truffle - a generous amount. We finished with a couple of lovely desserts - sorbet and soufflé. We also had a half bottle of a lovely Bordeaux and a nice Madeira. All in all a wonderful, delicious Wednesday night dinner.

Out of the 10 times that I've been to this restaurant this last visit has been the best time ever. Since I'm old, I asked for a little bit of isolation; perhaps a corner. They exceeded 1000% on my request. Granted they were not very busy but I so appreciate it the Restaurant honoring my request. Went with a couple of fun gal pals. could not believe they had a reasonably bottle of Italian wine considering I accidentally bought a single glass of wine in the bar for almost $40. Lighting is dim and confused with the line above of $20. Hugo made this dining experience the best I've ever had at Alexander's. What a terrific dining experience all around.

The service, ambiance, and professionalism of the staff were top notch during our visit. The food quality and presentation was also great. We had the Hamachi 6 pack, dry aged Porterhouse and Prime Rib--all wonderful.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and relied on the server's recommendation of the tomahawk steak as a “family-style” signature dish. What we received was a burned, overcooked steak that should never have left the kitchen—especially at this price point. When we called it out, both the server and manager were rude, dismissive, and unapologetic. No apology. No accountability. No attempt to fix the issue. Instead, we were treated like the problem for expecting basic quality and service. This is not the first bad experience here, which clearly points to deeper issues with training, standards, and management culture. Charging premium prices while delivering poor food and disrespectful service is unacceptable. Our anniversary dinner was completely ruined. Management should take this review seriously and respond publicly, because this level of service failure should not be ignored. Overpriced, poorly managed, and not worth the money. We will not return.

This was for lunch. The food was delicious and I was very happy. The onion rings were a bit greasy. But the service was very slow and it was very hard to get a waitress to pay attention to us. I will say it was late after lunch getting there about 130.

Had an outstanding lunch at Alexander’s Steakhouse in Cupertino! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Our server Tiffany provided warm, attentive service that made the experience even more enjoyable. Mr. Garcia helped us select a wonderful bottle of wine that paired perfectly with our meal, and Chef Oleg Sheyner truly showcased his culinary talent with every bite. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, making it a perfect setting for a memorable meal. Highly recommend!

The quality of food was okay. Not as delicious as before. From my perspective it has gone down a couple of stars.

What a terrific experience at Alexander's Steak House last night! It's my kids's birthday celebration and the restaurant did a very thoughtful and wonderful job. They presented the Happy Birthday card as soon as we sat down. The restaurant also treated us with some celebratory drinks and some fun cotton candies for the adults and my kids. Our waiter Taylor and the rest of the service staff were excellent. We truly enjoyed our dinner and we look forward to coming back soon.

Extremely overpriced for what you get. Better steaks in lower prices available 15-20min drive distance from this place.
