Top 10 steakhouse I've eaten at, priced accordingly. Steak was cooked correctly and tasty.

I definitely recommend this restaurant. The Wagyu A5 was next-level—cooked perfectly, super tender, and just melted in my mouth with crazy rich flavor. The environment was classy and elegant, real nice vibes that made the whole meal feel special. Our waiter, cool dude, was on it, super friendly, and kept everything smooth.

Top notch services. Fantastic food.

Everything was spectacular. The filet, F1 ribeye, truffle mac n cheese, and mushrooms were incredible - particularly the Mac. Delicious drinks (we loved the Drunk Munchkin & Georgia Mule)

Worst bday dinner of my life! I eat out every day and this is the first bad review I’ve ever left! Food was wrong, servers were rude, steak was overcooked, I dipped my bread in oil and vinegar and almost puked (it was soy sauce instead of vinegar) ...way overpriced! I can’t imagine how bad it would’ve been if it wasn’t my birthday! I'll stick to Mastros and Forbes Mill ...NEVER go here!

We waited 2 hrs for our main course (2 ribeye steaks) on a Saturday night, ordering right when the restaurant opened. We were told steaks would take 45 minutes to cook. 1.5 hours later, when we asked our waiters (Basilio & Lopez) where our steaks were, he argued with us saying it was taking a long time because they started counting for the 45-min main course after we finished the appetizers (which were terrible, so we had a hard time finishing them). What the hell, so they think it’s acceptable and normal to wait 45 MIN - 1 HOUR+ between courses?! We spent 3 TOTAL HOURS here waiting for 2 steaks and a cold appetizer. I am disgusted and furious at this argumentative and incompetent service. When they asked us how we were doing and we responded with “we waited two hours for our steaks”, they averted their eyes walked away and did not attempt any kind of improvement.

The food was incredibly below average as well.

You can drive to the supermarket, come back home, cook the steak, serve the dinner, and watch a movie in the time it takes to have a meal here AND your steak would be better. I will never again go to this hostage situation restaurant

I dined at Alexander's when it was in a different location and remembered it being really good. This time it's not as great as I remembered. Service from Victor was amazing though. The steaks, they were cooked perfectly but underseasoned. We ordered a few appetizers and we didn't care for the short rib or the Jamon iberico with buratta. It was really fun when you get Cotton candy at the end. They're very accommodating especially if you're celebrating something.

The reviews must be outdated. The "salmon and potato croquet amuse-bouche" was a tater tot with a piece of dried box salmon, they brought "complimentaries" which included store bought shortbread cookies and cotton candy. The steak was disappointing. The truffle fries were drowning in truffle oil. The free bread was pretty decent though.

Overall extremely overpriced, you get better steak cheaper at a cheesecake factory

It's been years since I've dined at Alexander's, mainly because there are so many other steakhouses in the Bay Area. Last night, we tried the Omakase, their prix fixe menu. While it wasn't primarily fish as you might expect from a Japanese restaurant, it was definitely inspired by Japanese influence.

We paired our meal with cocktails and a great bottle of GSM. Everything was delicious, and we were so full that we had to box up our last entrée and even the cotton candy to take home.

The service was fantastic! Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about both the wine and the food, and he added a wonderful presence to our evening. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name, but we closed the restaurant with him still taking care of us!

Parking is easy, with street and structure options nearby. It's a great location, surrounded by other restaurants and dessert spots as well.

Fantastic restaurant with amazing service. The food quality is always amazing and it's a perfect spot for a nice celebration and night out! If you don't know what to get the omakase is a perfect choice and very filling. The staff are all fantastic and attentive throughout the whole experience!

The service at this restaurant makes me never want to come back. I’m sure that plenty of stock option heavy people want to go here to celebrate. That must keep them in business. The food is high quality but the service is chaotic. We had two waiters, why? The salad came before the cocktails. The food took an hour and 45 minutes, and only when we started asking everyone else who walked by where is our server, where is our food???

Yeah the steaks are good, but why do I have to raise hell to get my food for $200?

Embarrassed myself in front of my friends when I had to say bring us the food or we’re leaving.
