Robot like front worker. Drink was awful.
They didn’t even change out the menu from the last spot which was there of which I also disliked. Also the worker lied and said that they don’t have WiFi 🤥
is this even a real business? Hmmmm 🤔💭 🤭🤣
Leslie was amazing she made me a custom strawberry mango with cheese and I literally melted yum yum yum I recommend everybody go here and it's in English yum yum yum yum
The cafe is under new management so they are still going through a transition period in terms of updating their menu from the previous owner/cafe. As of today, they are still working on setting up their public WiFi. But the staff, Jerry is very friendly and will do what he can to meet your needs!
Lots of sandwich and drink selection. The sandwich, boba tea and coffee were delicious.
Sadly regret coming. I came to this spot searching for misugaru milk tea. When I came into the store, misugaru milk tea was on the menu but their employee let me know they were all out. Okay that happens, no problem. I asked for a Korean Iced Coffee instead, thinking this was the well known dabang coffee. Nope. Definitely got a Vietnamese iced coffee. And for those who know, you know these are two completely different coffee drinks. The Vietnamese iced coffee also had a burnt aftertaste and there are definitely better Vietnamese coffee spots in the area that still have a very strong but smooth and balanced flavor. I couldn’t finish it and I am not one to waste a cup of caffeine. I do appreciate that the employee working was friendly and allowed me to use their wifi to work for a couple hours, though it seemed he didn’t really understand their menu and how to make each drink.
We chose the misugari milk tea, not knowing what it would taste like, thankfully the cashier/barista redid the drink for us and allowed us pick a different drink, truly outstanding and unqieu customer service
Came to the store and it said open but door was locked and the dude made eye contact with me and didn’t open the door 💀💀 cringe
Overpriced, stingy portions and vibe of workers that scream they hate being there.

Great food and great boba! The rose tteokbokki was a bit too big and decadent for my taste, but it was great to try out. Babo Boba seems to lean more on the decadent side for both their drinks (I got the blueberry matcha latte and that had plenty of blueberry jam) and their snacks; you can get full bentos here.

I used to frequent Babo Boba when they were right next door to my apartment. Unfortunately they moved a bit further away, but I knew their new location had a lot of potential. And after a few visits, I think they're not only living up to it but constantly getting better!
Their drinks (coffee, tea, and specialties) have been pretty good. What I love is their array of unique offerings, such as the Whitepink (Signature Korean strawberry milk with real strawberries) and the Dalgona drinks (remember Squid Game?) This helps them stand out in the crowded boba market. And it seems that every time I return, they add new items to the menu. I'm looking forward to try more espresso drinks, for example.
The creativity and quality extends to the food, though I haven't sampled as much of their offerings (yet). The croffle in particular was delightful. Like with the drinks, they seem to be regularly adding more items.
The interior is clean and stylish, and the staff are friendly. You can order on the kiosks if you prefer.
Overall, I am excited for the future of Babo Boba Cafe and can easily recommend it.

They have tanghulu but the strawberries were already going bad. It wasn’t as fresh as I thought it was going to be.

I had a delicious Burrito ! With Spicy pork and crispy potatoes and all the usual trimmings. It was served with a little side of guacamole. I could only finish half of it .

I ordered the passion fruit green tea with lychee jelly ($7.25), and the babo street box ($22) It took the boba 5 minutes to come out and the box was ready 18 minutes after I ordered. The moment I opened the box it just smelled overwhelmingly wonderful. The spicy sweet skewer is so satisfying. The sushi ingredients are a bit less exciting but the sushi is built beautifully and it's colorful so still cool. The popcorn chicken was fun to dunk into the salad dressing, and I did that with the greens too. The rice is ok but I'm more of a salad than a rice person. It's probably the size of 1.5 meals for me, I couldn't finish it in one sitting. Overall this is one of the best bentos I'd ever had and I just got back from a trip to Japan.
The tea was great too. A bit of a surprise was there were actual passion fruit seeds mixed in which was a crunchy surprise. I'm not sure how I feel about the seeds but otherwise I really liked the drink and lychee jelly.
I'm definitely coming back to try more things. Thank you Babo!
