This review is for the coffee meets tea drink from the Cupertino location only. The flavor was typical Thai tea flavor, the coffee was subtle. I like the drink but I'm not sure I received the actual drink because the cup was not full. See my pic. I tried to ask the guy what was up with the liquid level but he was clueless. Sooo, order at your own risk.

Yo yo. I'm a fan. It's definitely not the best chicken and rice I've had but it hits the spot at a decent price. The coffee meets tea drink is also solid solid. Get that split any two box and some Singapore chili sauce. Good good.

I had the... chicken... with... rice... Pretty good stuff. Basically it's boiled, bland chicken with rice. Then you add some sauce. And boom! good stuff. I recommend. It's located in the building next to 99 Ranch, not inside the grocery store.

Hainan chicken is one of my favorite go to meals because it is so well-balanced, flavorful, and tasty but light! My go to order is the hainan chicken box with half chicken rice and half salad. I enjoy the hainan chicken with the Thai ginger soy (CMR sauce), and I think Singapore soy is great with the salad. The sauces are incredibly flavorful and honestly probably at least half the reason I like Chicken Meets Rice so much! You also get a bowl of chicken broth with your order which complements the meal nicely. They have a "coffee meets tea" drink on their menu, which is a tasty mix of iced coffee and thai tea - definitely worth a try! Service here is pretty efficient, and they have a self-order machine for you to place your order at. You can alternatively order ahead for pickup, which is convenient when you're on the go and looking for something quick to grab. Overall, definitely one of my go to spots for a delicious, satisfying & balanced meal!

If you're craving Hainanese chicken rice with Singaporean chili sauce, then this place is it. Perfectly poached chicken, flavorful rice and yummy sauce. Very generous portion of chicken too. Felt healthy too!

Pretty impressed. First, the staff was helpful and were working hard on several orders. For the food, I ordered the fried chicken with chicken rice. The food was really good, tender and flavorful. The sauces added another layer to the dish, but could have even eaten it without. Good-sized order too.

Hainan chicken has been my all time favorite dish. If I know any place offers the dish, I have to try it. With that, I ordered Hainan chicken then added fried tofu as the side dish. It was an easy and quick order. The chicken was tender. In my opinion, if you are looking for an authentic Hainan Chicken dish as far as taste and ingredient, it might not satisfy you. If you are looking for a quick meal with a reasonable price tag, you might be happy/satisfied.

Yummy quick lunch. Always down for some good Hainan chicken. Order thru the iPad in the front and get a text for your order. I ordered the Hainan chicken with the ginger scallion and Singapore chili. Their ginger scallion really good with the chicken and the chili sauce gave it a good kick. Pretty big portions for price. You can also do half and half. They have teriyaki and fried chicken as well. Quick lunch spot. Not bad tasting and pricing isn't too bad either.

Quick and amazing lunch, I was pretty impressed how tender and juicy the inside was despite the super crispy outside of the Fried Chicken! The classic Hainan Chicken was crafted to perfection - super soft & flavorful chicken paired with the broth infused rice and rich ginger scallion oil! Be sure to drink some soup along the way for the full experience, this box definitely packed value and deliciousness

Simple Reviews 4.5/5: Delicious all around from their chicken rice, entrees, chicken broth, and sauces. Would like to have more vegetable options for sides. Out of the three meat entrees i ordered i would recommend the hainan chicken! Enjoy your meal fellow yelpers!

Tucked away in the Ranch 99 food court, this spot has a very nicely balanced (boneless!) Hainan chicken that I would readily eat quite often. Pretty easy for takeout on a quick dime while you're doing your groceries next door (had my order done within 15 minutes during lunch from an online order, way faster than I thought). Parking in the massive lot is pretty straightforward, but be sure to look out for the food court as the signs aren't terrible obvious. As it is a food court it's pretty open on seating as first-come-first-serve. It was perfectly smooth to walk up to their order pickup counter and grab my order. Each box comes with two sauces, some broth (which was so deliciously flavorful), a rice base of some sort, and a medley of veggies (cucumber, cilantro, julienned & lightly pickled carrots). Quite lovely comfort food when you're looking for something simple, but delicious and good quality. Additional meat appears to be about added half portion on top of your box, but you can also have a split meat portion option if that's desired. I opted for a Hainan chicken plus fried chicken on top and I have no complaints on either. Chicken was generally very juicy and light and the fried variety held up decently well for the drive back home (though not as great as completely fresh, so adjust accordingly). Sauces do well and are quite flavorful to add a bit more spunk to the box and the brown rice is quite the nice base with added garlic flair. The Singaporean chili sauce is more spicy mince and has a light amount of heat, and the Thai ginger soy is more savory soy than spicy. The grilled chicken had a great char to them as well as being quite juicy. The chicken rice (made with their chicken stock) is remarkably savory white rice and goes very well as a base for the meats and veg.

This is one of our favorite places to get lunch/dinner. It's quick, convenient, and fairly healthy. Added bonus - my 4-year-old loveeess their chicken and rice. We always get the Hainan chicken, white meat with skin and chicken rice for the base. Our favorite sauce is the traditional ginger scallion sauce. It works well to get one order + extra chicken to share between my daughter and me. It's super kid friendly since there's no bones in the meat. We've tried the same dish from a few competitors but found this one to have a generous amount of meat. It's always tender despite being white meat and the quality is consistently very good.

I am a huge fan of Chicken Meets Rice and probably can eat it every week if I wanted to. The convenient thing about CMR is that you can order online on their website for pickup. Create an account so you can accumulate points towards free CMR. My usual go-to is the Hainan chicken box - dark meat without skin, chicken rice, with CMR (Thai ginger soy) and ginger scallion oil. Also, it includes pickled carrots, sliced cucumbers, and a side of broth. I have been to all the CMR in the South Bay and all are pretty consistent when it comes to the chicken being super tender and the rice being the perfect texture. This location is in an eatery "Eat Up" towards the back - so it's more of a takeout location as there aren't too many tables for dine in. Regardless, the service is quick, we never had to wait for our food because by the time we get there, the food is ready for pickup.

THIS PLACE IS SOOOOO GOOD!!! It's located in an eatery called "Eat Up!" towards the back and you order through a self-help kiosk. I waited about 20ish minutes maybe? Overall quick food! I stopped by the Ranch 99 market next by anyway while waiting. The chicken rice is HELLA bomb oh my LORD! Hainanese chicken so good. Only complaint is I am not the biggest fan of their sauces LOL, personally. I make my own ginger and scallion sauce to pair with my food but still so delicious. It's like a good and filling comfort food to me and always hits the spot. Highly recommend!

God tier Hainan chicken, staple clean protein with rice and salad combo, spicy flavor added by a non fattening sauce selection. Garlic ginger Thai being my go to! The ramen style egg is a huge plus too!
