Coconuts is one of my favorite places to go for lunch or dinner. It is so fresh and really has me feeling like I'm back in Maui! The fish taco salad is my go to. It's light but filling and has you feeling good about what you just ate. I also love the macadamia crusted mahi-mahi and fish and chips! I rave about this place to everyone I know. Sometimes they even have a shave ice truck come in front! I love coconuts!!! Just don't crave it on a Monday because they are closed haha

Fresh food, good service, but pricey. I ordered the Tacos. It was good with fresh ingredients. The Taco shell was a little bit over done, but otherwise ok. However for 2 Tacos it was $15. (which is why I took off a star). Even for Bay area its too much. CMG gives 3 chicken tacos for about $9. Place is good for once in a while but not a regular joint.

Cupertino is the second location besides Maui for this Zagat-rated restaurant. Based on previous reviews, we had to try. Coconut's Fish Cafe. My coconut shrimp was even more scrumptious with the orange dipping sauce. An ample portion of tropical cole slaw was my side. So delicious! I broke down and had a bite of my husband's Mahi Mahi (I swore I would never eat Mahi Mahi because it is more intelligent than man). Next time, I will order the Ono. The Mahi Mahi platter had two large, grilled pieces. It came with brown rice and slaw. The rice was bland, so the only change I would make would be to perk up the rice with fruit. I had the POG mimosa that had champagne, an excellent accompaniment. We sat outside.. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable. A pleasant experience.

Owner: I want you to make a 1 star meal at a 4 star Price Chef: I will spare no expense Owner: no, that's exactly what I want you to do Chef: I will put onions in a fettuccini dish Line cook: maybe if you don't put onions in this dish it might actually turn out ok Chef: Silence! I will spare no expense!! But I will skimp on salt and other spices. This "food" will taste like prison. Joking aside, someone went to a lot of effort to proactively ruin every dish. Clam chowder would have been better out of a can. Fettuccini mixed with almost raw onions. All fish dishes used no spices. The garlic bread was bitter because the garlic was burnt to a crisp. Save yourself the wait and the money. Lick a toilet bowl for dinner, you might discover better flavors.

This is my fourth or fifth time here I love the place outdoor seating is always nice and the fish selections are very fresh I love the brown rice too
We ordered fish tacos and fish & chips. Tacos were amazing. Especially having gluten free option and delicious taste of their tacos will make this place an inevitable stop for us.

Food: 5/5 - This is based on my order of the "Super Green Salad" with Pineapple Vinaigrette, and Mahi-Mahi with Shrimp add-ons, Cajun style. All ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Fish was cooked to perfection. Very nice balance of sweet and spicy with the Cajun finish. I would re-order this item. Price: 5/5 This is a solid place to grab a quick bite if you are looking for a healthy meal that does fish well with a robust flavor profile.
