We’ve been here a few times and service is always bad. On our most recent visit they screwed up our reservation for five and gave us a table only for four. It was a birthday celebration too, so we couldn’t fit our party. No apology, they didn’t care. Never going back now, you guys blew it!

This place suits for true lovers of the menu they offer. 80% of the items contain fish broth, so for having fish allergy I had very limited options. I did check the menu in advance and there was no way to know that my allergy will be a problem. The menu looks very versatile, but my friends at the table without allergies were not super excited about the taste. The shoe policy ( removing shoes to get seated) is also not mentioned anywhere on the website. The place is very crowded and hard to move around because of the special sitting set up. To top the experience, they accept up to 3 cards to split the bill. Too many small things that were not expected.

An elevated dining experience with thoughtful execution throughout. The pizza was a standout—perfectly balanced with exceptional texture and flavor. We also ordered the oysters, hamachi, unagi claypot rice, and beef tenderloin, all of which were beautifully prepared and deeply satisfying. The only miss was the broiled amberjack, which lacked the same refined taste and quality as the other dishes.
Service was polished and attentive without being intrusive, and the hot sake complemented the meal wonderfully. While it leans toward the expensive side, the ingredient quality and overall experience justify the price. A strong choice for a night out.

Extremely disappointing experience.
Even though our entire party had arrived, the reception ignored our request and made us wait a long time to be seated for no clear reason. The receptionist was openly rude, rolled her eyes, and did not respond at all when we said thank you.
The service afterward was even worse. The server showed clear favoritism toward white customers, treating them very kindly, while giving us noticeably poor and hostile service. We were not provided menus and were treated dismissively throughout the meal.
This experience felt racially biased, unprofessional, and unacceptable. No customer should be treated this way. We will not be returning and do not recommend this restaurant to others.

Restaurant ambience and decor was great, their hot Sake was one of the best house sake I've had. As for their food, it is a great concept however the food lacked seasoning, steak was chewy and the chicken tasted bland. The shrimp tempura was good and so were the shrimp balls, suggestion mane serve a dipping sauce with soy sauce and yuzu or lemon to pair with them. Overall there are better places to drop $225 for 3 people. Nothing memorable - sorry

This place is always crowded, especially during the weekend. We came early during the week night and there was no wait!
Service is great. They have plenty of waiters/waitresses working. Once we ordered, the food came out fast.
Out of all the dishes we ordered, the Hamachi Carpaccio, Asari Sakamushi, Yaki Onigiri, Unagi Pizza and the Grilled Duck Breasts dishes are delicious and stand out.
The fried oysters is so-so since the crust is too thick and not light enough. The sea bass special isn't as good as other places as they pan-fried the outside first rather than directly grilling it. The coating is so much that we couldn't taste the fish. IMHO, Tanto's fried oysters and fish (black cod) dishes are better.
They have an extensive menu and will come back to try other dishes.

We had lunch in here, their lunch special menu price is okay, three of us all order different chirashi, sashimi rice bowl, I feel surprised the number of Sashimi is too little inside the bowl, however, the quality of sashimi are fine. Waiter is nice. Service is good.

the menchi katsu dish - the pork taste was too strong without proper seasoned. the saba sashimi did not come with enough lemons slices and the slice was too thick cut. the restaurant did not give you Menu - you have to to scan the QR code and read the menu on phone - very small and not convenient. hard to choose the orders. the price on the menu is for cash-pay. i was shocked at the end when i was told needed to pay 5% additional if want to pay by credit card. i haven't been to the restaurant for 10 years. the quality was not as good . not sure that i would return in another 10 years.
