The layout is reasonable, with spacious seats and a nice environment. The portions are substantial, and I was very full after the meal.

The food tastes absolutely delicious, with a fragrant base that's flavorful yet not greasy.
You guys need to UPDATE YOUR MENU on food delivery apps and your websites. Costumers like us can’t find the dishes we want to order on the menu. Especially your signature dishes!

It was the first time trying a new Chinese restaurant in the area but since it had high ratings on Yelp we decided to have lunch here. We only ordered 2 dishes, the eggplant/potato/green beans and salt and pepper fish. The positives were that it was clean and the employees were friendly and wore masks but the food was not to our liking. There was way too much cumin in the vegetable dish and it overpowered the natural flavor of everything. That was the first time I’ve had eggplant this way and prefer it just to be garlic chili sauce or just garlic is good as well. The fish was almost non existent and mostly was fried batter. Very overly fried to the point that whatever fish there was became fish jerky. Very minimal actual pieces of fish and they marinate it in some kind of sweet egg batter which was strange. Home eats is much better for Chinese food. Not a fan so we won’t be returning
They've been shut down by yhe health department 3 times in 1 year!! They dont wash their hand properly dont hold food at adequate temperature and have a huge rat and cockroach problem. Do ur self a favor and dont eat here.

Not very good food
We had a sumptuous dinner tonight, along with several appetizers. The portions were generous and the food was prepared quickly!

I had a very unpleasant evening here yesterday. A very disappointing dinner. The food here is terrible, the prices are very high, and the staff are rude. I won’t come back again.

I ordered the spicy chicken for takeout. I ate two pieces and found the taste very strange and sour. I quickly told my family not to eat this dish. Still not convinced, I took two more bites. As a professional in the same industry, I could tell the chicken had gone bad, so I threw it in the trash.
At first, I didn’t plan on writing a review, but yesterday I experienced severe vomiting and diarrhea, and my life was in danger.
Today, the more I think about it, the angrier I get, so I’m leaving this review to warn others. I’ve ordered from this place a few times before — the food was good, and I even gave it a star and saved it.
But yesterday’s experience was truly unforgettable. I won’t be returning, but I still have a suggestion for the restaurant: the Doubanjiang (fermented bean paste) is already very salty. Please reconsider how you season your dishes — could this cause kidney failure?

Compared to the many copy-paste Sichuan/Hunan menus in the Bay Area, this restaurant truly stands out. It’s become our go-to spot for Hunan food — like a home kitchen away from home!
The owner is skilled, and every dish tastes like it’s made with heart. Besides the spicy Hunan staples, the homestyle dishes are also delicious and kid-friendly. Portions are generous, and everything goes perfectly with rice.
Highly recommend the stir-fry dishes – the pork, liver, and beef tongue stir-fries are all excellent.
My personal favorites are the stinky tofu, sour long beans, and braised intestines – rich in flavor, spicy, sour, and totally addictive!
The yellow croaker with preserved vegetables is very special and flavorful, and the beer duck is tender and richly seasoned.
Don’t miss the winter melon pork rib soup – big portion, comforting flavor, and perfect for little kids too. My baby loves mixing it with rice!
Service here is also exceptional – the staff are friendly, attentive, and responsive. The owner is always welcoming, open to feedback, and clearly passionate about the food. The place recently got renovated, and it’s now brighter and more comfortable.
A hidden gem for homestyle Hunan food – warm, flavorful, and worth returning to again and again!

The food at my grandma's home-style restaurant was terrible. The spicy chicken wasn't fresh, and neither was the fish. I got a stomachache after eating there. It's no wonder this place doesn't have many customers. The staff were also very rude. What a disappointing meal!
