Always a pleasure and treat to come to Haidilao! We have been to other locations and we love this one for the overall experience. The quality of food doesn't differ much at the other locations but this one does more than give you good food.

We made a reservation and arrived at opening. After checking in, we went to the waiting area. There were drinks, snacks and games to help pass the time. When we were seated, our server May went above and beyond from beginning to end. She covered my husband's coat in the spare seat next to him. She provided a dining set and game for my infant. We got aprons to protect our clothes from splatter. May checked in periodically to ensure we're doing okay. She also gave my daughter a cute hat. We visited around lunar new year and got festive paper glasses.

Food is top notch as always. Take advantage of the sauce bar that also has other small eats and dessert station.

Worst Haidilao in history

One time, I was told to wait for an hour for a takeaway at noon. There was no explanation at all. They just kept saying that it was almost ready and I didn’t have time to eat lunch. If I couldn’t do it, just told me to wait for an hour.

The other time I scheduled to pick it up at 7pm, I didn’t get it until almost 8:30 🤷🏻‍♀️Everyone who got it later got it. I told the store clerk that he just said there was nothing he could do about it. Is this slower? ? ?

Food and service are good. The atmosphere is festive as people are clearly celebrating events around you.

Down side like most hot pots you're paying quite a premium given the amount of meat you get vs say just a steak.

That said, we keep going back ... Maybe that's why I'm not fat yet.

We (2 people) have visited place regularly, taking advantage of the lunch set menu since ~2021, base total was ~$60 including tax+tips. A lot of changes since then: 1. Kids free menu quality changed to “snacks”, 2. Mandatory bar charge per person, which adds up to your total (base total ~$70 including tax+tips), and recently, 3. Rewards devalued, 4. Set menus changed entirely, placing so many limits to preferred menus, and making the base total well over whooping ~$80 including tax+tips. And this is not for dinner, its for “lunch special”. The google rating for this place is now overated
