The dry pot order comes with rice and sweet green tea. You may choose the degree of spicy, and add items to the pot! It’s a bit oily and salty, but it does taste good!

It tastes good, but the oil is too big. After eating it, you will feel that your blood lipids have increased. Although it is probably just a psychological effect... right?

Food -- Below to Average quality. It lacks taste and the spiciness level was not properly communicated. The waitress wasn't able to describe the spice level properly and what we received had no taste and not spicy at all. We asked whether anything can be done, and was given a spicy sauce to add ourselves.Atmosphere -- When we dined there, water started dripping from the ceiling. The whole restaurant feels really outdated, especially for the price they are charging for their food ($40-50 per person). Parking is extremely difficult.Credit Card Charge -- Their credit card charges were not properly categorized. The category came back to show "Services" instead of "Restaurants." It messes up any cash back people are planning.

Just tried last weekend with my family. The Malatang reminds me my school time in China. Almost the same taste as in China. My wife likes the dry pot. Definitely will come back often.

I ordered a small dry pot and added two meats into it which spent me extra 14 dollars but the amount of food is still the same as without adding more food. I was expected to eat more since I spent that money but they just don’t care about it. I came here many times this is the only time I feel so frustrated.

Pretty tasty drypot but a little oily. The free lunch iced tea is a bit sweet but goes well when diluted with the water. Good service!

We had order spicy soup with self choose ingredients and fried ingredients with really strong flavors. Both tasted ok for me and lunch time would serve a cup of green tea which was fantastic! The flavor was quite strong thus not my type. But it’s very popular during the weekend, I would like to go again in winter.

Tasty and great meat selections. Wish it had more mala spice (got extra spicy). I'll try super spicy next time.

The service here is slow, but the worst thing about this place, is that it is extremely dirty. I saw them scoop out the drinking water that they serve customers from a old bucket. I just took a sip and it had such a foul taste and there was a layer of oily separation on the top of the cup of water that showed they did not wash their cups well. Not only that, but multiple people from our group got food poisoning after going home that night. It was an extreme case of food poisoning, some of us vomited and had diarrhea for many days afterwards and had intense stomach pain and inflammation for weeks that we had to go see the doctor about. Such a scary and unfortunate choice we made to go dine here... Be warned...

I recently dined at Hi Pot and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The restaurant offers a wide range of choices for hotpot, with a great selection of meats, vegetables, and other ingredients. I appreciated the variety of options, which allowed me to create a customized meal that was perfect for my taste preferences. The food was of excellent quality, with fresh ingredients that were perfectly cooked. I particularly enjoyed the spicy broth, which had just the right amount of heat and added a wonderful depth of flavor to the meal. The price was also very reasonable, considering the quality and variety of the food that was offered. Also, they offered free sweet tea. However, one area where Hi Pot could improve is in their staffing on Sundays. During my visit, it seemed like there was only one waiter on staff, which led to some delays in service. Despite this, the waiter was incredibly friendly and did his best to keep up with the demands of the restaurant. With more staff on hand, I'm sure the experience would have been even more enjoyable.Despite this minor issue, I would highly recommend Hi Pot to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying hotpot meal. The food is of exceptional quality, with a wide range of choices that are sure to please any palate. The price is also very reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality of food that is offered. If you're looking for a great hotpot experience, Hi Pot is definitely worth a visit.
