We’ve been to Home Eat 10+ times. When it’s good, it’s really good, but the food is inconsistent. Some visits the dishes taste fresh; other times they don’t, and a few visits have been just not that great. Feels like quality has slipped over time.
The space is tight. You end up squeezing in and moving chairs around, even when there are empty tables they don’t seat. Little things add up too you fetch your own salt and pepper.
On the plus side, it has a friendly, local vibe. I just wish they’d tighten up consistency on food quality. If they fix that, we’d be back more often.
