Feels more Japanese than Taiwanese in terms of available options. A bit disappointed about that, otherwise decent bento box that amounts to $18 per box

Got the #9 teriyaki set
Meat taste kind of grainy like it was frozen? Not sure why but not the best this was def the most disappointing part of the meal. For the price the quality of meat should be way higher. It kind of taste like cardboard after the flavor of the sauce goes away. The whole reason I wrote a review is cause of the disappointing meat
Rice is ok but could be better it taste like it wasn’t made fresh (for reference I went around 1:45 on a Saturday afternoon)
Shrimp is a little mushy so I’m pretty sure it was frozen or just isn’t the best quality flavor of the batter is good and it’s crispy but the texture of the shrimp is a little off
Fishball and gyoza was fine but I wish the gyoza was a little crispier (I can’t really fault them for this since I didn’t eat the bento until 25ish minutes later)
Vegetables are fine
After seeing some reviews it seems that my initial thoughts were likely true — most of this bento is just frozen food
It’s a Taiwanese place but the food isn’t authentic at all and it just seems like a cash grab since they were selling Asian snacks and dishes inside

Overpriced, been to many other bento places that are much yummier and better price this was close to my job i was looking for healthy option for my baby and I si ce im pregnant dont mean to complain just not satisfied.
Me and my friend were hungry so we found this spot. Family owned restaurant with many bentos to choose from. Great place for a quick bite and the only downside is they don’t have a restroom. Other than that, the place was good.

I visited I Heart Bento for a dine-in experience and ordered the chicken teriyaki bento, takoyaki, and an Oi Ocha drink. The lady at the counter was very polite, which I appreciated. While the service was friendly, I was somewhat disappointed with the food. It seemed that most of the options were frozen products from an Asian store / or such equivalent quality that were simply heated up and served. I suspected that this may not be an authentic Japanese restaurant and may actually be owned by Taiwanese or Hong Kong person as a Japanese establishment typically prides itself on fresh preparation and wouldn’t typically serve reheated store frozen food. I was drawn to this place because I heart bento, not I heart frozen and reheated bento ? For those who don’t mind the convenience of frozen food at a higher price, this place could still be enjoyable. The polite service ultimately led me to rate this restaurant 4 stars instead of 3.

I was looking for authentic Taiwanese bento but was very disappointed with the pork rice I ordered. It says 爌肉, but it is not 爌肉 at all, more like 肉絲。 Nothing is even close to the Taiwanese standard. With the price $17 it is asking, it doesn’t worth a second visit for me.
Wanted it to be better as l live nearby. Owners were very niceKatsu was decent, salmon was dry rubbery and expensive.

I was excited to see the hamachi collar offered as a special bento and ordered that. First, I loved the fatty fish collar which was pretty tasty (plain shio yaki style). The sides were on the sweet side (as verified by my blood glucose reading after) and overall the quantity was on the smallish side. Compared to the price/quantity of a Tea Era or Bento Express box lunch (which are both within 3-5 min driving neighborhood) it was pricey, but the side dishes are of higher quality and I was rooting for the husband-wife business partners.
Worth it for the quality. Food costs are high nowadays and prices are very reasonable when compared to decent restaurants.

Too bad food and expensive. Paid 23$ for a meal with beef, the beef color look too black and salty. Both quality and quantity is too badAdded: (17.95 + tax ) + 15% tips -> ~ 23$
such friendly staff! good bento options and it's a very cute shop. give this place a shot.
