My mom and a group of her friends came here last evening and ordered the Pan Fried Flat Fish. When it arrived, they noticed a strong fishy odor. After each taking a bite, they agreed it tasted off and politely told their waitress they were concerned it might be spoiled.

Instead of apologizing, the waitress snapped that the fish had arrived that morning and refused a refund because the dish had been partially eaten. My mom explained they weren’t seeking a refund, only warning the kitchen so no one else got sick, but the waitress accused them of trying to get the dish for free. They even offered to let her taste what was left; she declined, saying it was unsanitary to eat food they’d already tried, despite most of it being untouched.

They were shocked by her attitude and the apparent disregard for food safety. I wouldn’t recommend dining here.

Quite honestly, the food was amazing. Fresh, delicious, and fast. Not to mention all the sides were to die for. Will absolutely come back again. I recommend the bimpab or soy sauce chicken

my go to place for tofu stew 🍲 the owner is a very sweet person and took great care of us- the server kept loading us up with side dishes. I got the dumpling tofu stew with ramen and a side of rice, my friend got a beef bibimbap- both were amazingly cooked. Highly highly recommend!!!

I was hesitant to come in because this is the only restaurant in the area without a long line for a Saturday lunch - but turns out the food was amazing! The service was great and they offer refills for the appetizers as well. The seafood bibimbap tastes very well. Definitely will come back!

Went here for dinner and it was super busy. Felt like it was a short staffed but that didn't bother me. I get it. They were very nice and no one was rude to us

The food was good. Wasn't amazing but I would come back again. My wife and I got different bibimbop. She got the regular bibimbop with purple rice while I got the wagu stone pot version. I highly recommend the stone pot since it has the crispy rice on the bottom. the server recommended us the pancake which we didn't try. I saw the other tables and it looks delicious

Like I mentioned earlier, I would come back again and try. hopefully the soup and the pancake would change my review.

Also to close on this review, I would really like to emphasize that the price was great compared to the amount of food you're getting.

Used to be a decent neighborhood restaurant. Way worse now. Even the rice is awful. Under the impression that the ownership has changed.

Have been here a few times. Generally average food and okay service. They have messed up my order a few times but are usually good about fixing it.

Should be at least 3 stars, however, this past time they forgot numerous side dishes and entire main dishes on my take away order. They were rude on the phone and asked what I wanted- the owner himself offered the side dishes for pickup, not delivery, or a refund. Returning to pick up food would take an hour round trip which wouldnt work for my event. I wanted to be refunded which the owner then refused to do “because the charge already happened” but that he would give me store credit or cash. When I asked for clarification he hung up and when I dialed back he said was too busy and to come in.

I later went in and they rudely had me wait for another 20 minutes at the counter while processing other customers who came after me. I assumed this was because the refund process would be lengthy. Literally they just had to type in my order number and click void but that was apparently not possible to do without me driving all the way back and then having to wait. The owner also asked me to come behind the counter to help click on the screen. Seemed like he was trying to annoy me into leaving.

Would have been 3-5 stars if they had followed through on refunding or delivered to make up for their mistake without making me jump through so many hoops- making me come in unnecessarily, them lying about refunds not being possible, making me wait in an attempt that I just gave up, etc.

I had the soft tofu stew with mushrooms, and it was delicious. The variety of complimentary appetizers was also a really nice surprise! The service was kind and attentive, and I liked the atmosphere. 100% recommend!

Above average dining experience at this Korean restaurant in Cupertino. Service was fast and friendly. The tofu soup and spicy squid were both solid, but the banchan was very average. Parking lot layout is a bit funky, so finding a spot can take time and some maneuvering around the careless drivers.

Kimchi is a little bland. The fish cake is good. The seafood tofu soup is delicious, but wagyu bibimbap has very little beef in it.

Yummy Korean restaurant with a cute interior. They give you lots of banchan and generous portion sizes. Food tastes good and homey.

I have been taking my family to this restaurant since 2015 and the service and attitude we are getting from the owner is getting worst and worst every time. We have not been back for a year because our last experience was not pleasant. I usually just do take out so I don’t have to deal with the attitude.

We decided to try it again for Christmas lunch this year. The owner came out and greet our table which was a nice touch. I thought to myself that perhaps it’s getting better here. I asked him if we can start with an appetizer and the respond I got back blew my mind. Btw our usual is the seafood pancake. He said that you will get appetizer as soon as you order 🤯. I think that he thought we are asking for their side dishes. Even that, this kind of mindset was unnecessary and not applicable especially when the restaurant is located in an affluent city.

I’m at the point of crossing this restaurant off my list permanently.

Went for lunch with a friend. We arrived a few minutes ago of opening time, but we were seated right away. Friendly service. We shared #41 (it's not that spicy if you are used to spice) and the green seafood pancake. The banchan was delicious. We got some additional mixed rice, but honestly we couldn't finish what we ordered. Good portion sizes. Friend's little daughter ordered ramen but found the mild was too spicy for her liking. The tea was also nice.
Nice place - I can see going again. It's just a bit pricey. But I guess if you're sharing a dish it all evens out.
