Went in to try their new spring menu (ask for the Spring Menu Tasting menu available through the end of April!). For $40, you can get a 3 course meal that can be easily shared. You can also add a $5 glass of wine or beer or a $7 cocktail that is served in an adorable honey bear. I started with the cocktail: tasty with margarita vibes but not very strong. The crispy rice tuna was my favorite dish and made me think of something that might be on a sushi menu (but I've never seen it before). The Cuban was tasty and the umami fries are always on point. The desserts were my least favorite as they didn't have as much flavor but they were pretty to look at!

Same menu for over a decade, limited choice of dark beer, now they removed calamari from the happy hour. Still better than eureka though

I think Lazy Dog is just okay because there is almost nothing on the menu that appeals to me. Yesterday for example I had the Falafel Hummus Bowl and it was just okay. But my family thinks Lazy Dog is four stars. For starters we usually order Carmelized Brussel Sprouts and Quesadillas. Yesterday though instead of Quesadillas we tried the Bacon Cheddar Biscuits ?, which were a hit for the bacon lovers, and Cheese Curds ?, which were like Fried Mozzarella Sticks. For salad we ordered Ahi Tuna Salad ??. I used to order that as my entree but everyone would take some and I'd be left with almost nothing ? so now we just get it as a shared item. For entrees my youngest always gets Chicken Parmesan, my meat eaters always get Ribs ? or Fried Chicken ?, my adventurous one always tries different things (yesterday was Grilled Trout ?) and my better half usually gets Walnut Chicken Salad Sandwich but yesterday tried the Chile Ahi Tuna Bowl ?. Everyone enjoyed their entrees except me.For dessert it's always the Apple Huckleberry Pie ? and we got a free ice cream scoop ? with a candle ?️ on top for one of my kid's birthdays. The decor is like a high priced lodge ⛷️. Sometimes we eat outside because my daughter likes bringing her dog ? but I prefer eating inside and not having to hear dogs bark and growl at each other periodically.

We came here because I had been to the location in San Mateo. Great experience, as I had expected. The food is tasty, the service is professional, and portions are generous. I recommend anything "encrusted" ?. Also, lovely desserts.

I was thoroughly impressed by both the variety and quality of the food. The restaurant boasts a cozy and rustic atmosphere, complemented by friendly and attentive staff. For my meal, I ordered the coconut shrimp, crispy chicken with rice and edamame, and honey bacon strips. The coconut shrimp was delightfully crunchy and sweet, served with a tangy pineapple sauce. The crispy chicken was tender and juicy, accompanied by a savory soy-ginger sauce and fluffy jasmine rice. The steamed edamame was lightly salted, making for a perfect snack. However, my favorite part was the honey bacon strips—thick-cut and glazed with honey, they offered a delightful blend of spicy and smoky flavors. Every bite of my meal was a delight, and I look forward to returning in the future.

Need American comfort food with a twist, craft cocktails, and dog-friendly atmosphere, Lazy Dog is the place. The menu offers a wide range of options, from appetizers to desserts. Dishes often have creative twists on classic comfort foods, I had the Pretzel Schnitzel, new to the menu not sure how long it will stay as menu items do change, or so I am told.Atmosphere is a rustic decor and comfortable seating, a little loud but that is because it is a popular place so it is worth it. The service was friendly and attentive our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations to my party. Definitely going back.
