If I could give zero stars, I would. I walked in with high hopes and walked out genuinely disgusted. This place calls itself a Cantonese restaurant, but nothing about the experience came close. We ordered three dishes: BBQ pork rice roll, marinated brisket, and spare ribs rice, and every single one was a letdown.
The BBQ pork was an insult: dry, flavorless, and tasted like something that had been sitting around for days. The rice roll itself was passable, but they don’t even bother to give you enough soy sauce. I asked for more and the waiter acted like i personally offended him, gave me a nasty look instead of basic service.
The brisket bowl was $12 and only the top layer was actual brisket. Everything underneath was scraps: fat, connective tissue, and vegetables stuffed in to fill the bowl. The dish was icy cold when I first got it and they took it in to microwave it. Total rip-off.
But the worst was the spare ribs rice. It was legitimately foul - the meat tasted old, sour, and completely un-marinated, like they pulled spoiled ribs out of the fridge and hoped no one would notice.
The staff look like they resent every customer who walks in. No one speaks Cantonese. I came in excited for comfort food. I left angry, disappointed, and honestly a little nauseous. I will never be back. 从来未食过咁难食嘅嘢 真系又贵又难食 俾钱买难受

The pork kidney wasn’t fresh and was extremely gamey, the pork liver was overcooked and tough, and the rice rolls were cold. The Chinese broccoli was so fibrous. completely ruined my expectations. Not coming back.

The worst customer service in the Bay Area. There is a waitress seems constantly unhappy towards her customers. Food is okay. You can definitely find better alternatives

I recommend the boat congee.
The main advantage is the very reasonable price.

Usually see people waiting outside this place. Decided to give this a try when there was no line.
We ordered the beef, shrimp and pork liver porridge The porridge consistency is good, however, the beef is a bit chewy and the pork liver isn't great. Only the shrimp is ok.
For the rice noodles, we got the Chinese donut wrapped in rice noodles but it's not good. Chinese donut is all soft and soagy. It doesn't taste fresh. The noodles are pretty thin but the whole dish doesn't taste good. The food is not warm either and the sauce is too salty. Very disappointing.
Curry fish balls and pork skins is decent. The fish balls texture is bouncy. This seems to be the best dish out of all of them.
We were happy that we got to try it without waiting for table but are disappointed that the porridge and rice roll noodles are not as good as we hoped for
The food quality has gone way down. Ordered porridge, only one shrimp in it. And it’s more like rice paste not a porridge. Would not come back anymore.

A causal eatery serving authentic Cantonese rice noodle rolls stuffed with different types of meats, seafood or vegetables. The rice rolls with beef stew, bbq pork or shrimp were consistently good, but those with pork liver tasted gamy on the day we went. We also had the Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce, which was quite good. They also serve traditional Cantonese savory rice congee with meats and other types of Cantonese street foods. Service was fast. Price was reasonable.

Best and most affordable Cantonese food option in the South Bay. I have been going here regularly and you can’t go wrong with anything you pick. Everything is delicious and authentic. Oh did I mention it’s also affordable? :)

I was told it’s a good restaurant. But last Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving my son got food poisoning from the lunch. We shared most of foods. I was ok. The only dish I didn’t touch was the fried dumplings. My son had throwing up and fever that night and had been sick during the Thanksgiving weekend. That lunch ruined our holiday. He just got better this morning. I barely wrote reviews but I this is a serious issue.

Rice rolls had thin rice wrappers, which were nice but they were not "smooth" in texture so I did not enjoy them as much as I could've. But the shrimp was juicy, and the donut was crispy and the sauce for the rice roll was nice.
Siumai was good but a small portion. (4 bite pieces for $6.) We got the black chicken and pork soup as it seemed healthy but did not feel like it was worth ordering again. The chicken feet were yummy but I didn't know why they cut the feet in half. We also got the daikon cake with XO sauce, it is a bit spicy but I like that they pan fried it so it is crispy.
My favorite item was the milk pudding.
We did not try any porridge. I would not mind coming back here for more rice rolls and milk pudding if we are in the area.
