The place looks spacious with two arcade machines! They have, I think, two kiosks available and a QR code if you want to skip the line and order online! Mango Boba Milk Tea(3/5): I got it at 75% sweetness and I thought it was still sweet for me. I barely tasted the mango inside the boba, but at least it was soft and chewy! I wasn't able to taste the tea but it was creamy. However, it was too creamy that drinking it overtime felt overwhelming for my tastebuds. I think the drinks come in one size so that's good for those that can't decide what size they want! Service(4/5): It took about 10-15 minutes to get our drinks, but I think it's because there's new workers. I think it sucked that people were hovering by the counter and just grabbing drinks. Someone grabbed my drink and it caused me to wait longer thinking that the workers were still in process of making my drink. The worker apologized, even though they weren't at fault, and they quickly made the drink! I felt bad because one worker was training two workers at once. I hope they get the recognition they deserve!

One of the most flavorful tapioca pearls I’ve ever had. If you like 100% sweet get 25% or 50% sweetness.

I walked in to order and it was completely silent. No music and some grown man working was just awkwardly standing there waiting for me to complete my order on the kiosk. Very strange atmosphere and kind of uncomfortable. The place was absolutely empty. My drink was good but prob won’t be back.

They make their own boba! I love the different variations of boba they have here and the tea selection is large. Something about Mr.Sun tastes much more different than other boba shops. I would say those who have a picky boba texture preference might either love or hate this place. The tea is definitely on the sweeter side here, so I recommend going a level down from your usual. Definitely give this place a try!

Easy to use ordering system. Decent tasting tea and no humongous line like other boba tea places. In store, the playlist is loaded with non sensored profanity and curse words, so keep kids with sensitive ears outside. Tons of F bombs, N-words, b-words in the music coming from the Bose sound system. Seems like an inappropriate and unnecessary choice for a place that has kids as customers and might deter others from coming here. An example song on the playlist, Too Blessed by Rich the Kid, uncensored... amongst others

Handcrafted boba is pretty neat. Ordered milk tea w rainbow boba - strawberry, mango, and honey (i believe). Was not particularly impressed with the drink, tea seemed a bit weak. My sweet cousin was told her "boba melted" when she inquired about the missing boba; they begrudgingly gave her a scoop...we paid for it.

For a $7 drink, they are not using fresh milk, but some form of milkish powder that tastes artificial. The tea flavor is negligible. The boba is chewy but a bit too sweet for me. The boba also has an artificial/chemical taste that I don’t really like. Quite disappointed.

Thought I would give them a try, stood outside for 10 mins since the dude working didn't want to open the door at 1130 when the store opened. My order says ready at 1125. Text message as well. Still waiting 1142...

Stopped by for a quick boba with family. Easy parking. Quick kiosk ordering. Milk tea bobas were just ok. Taro was the better of the other 2. I think there is better boba in Cupertino.

REVIEW PREVIEWI am an extremely picky person and probably the most picky person you’ll ever meet. So 4 or 5 out of 5 or anything 7.5 or higher out of 10 is really an achievement for that restaurant. In that case, here is my review, by Nicolas!I would give this restaurant a 7.5/10!!!Even though it was cold and dark outside, it was warm inside Mr. Sun’s boba shack! I got the plain mango smoothie and oh my, it was pretty good! One thing though, is that the cashier/orderer was very slightly passive aggressive, which is hopefully because of the end of the day shift and although it is a reasonable and expectable occurrence, anyone can prevent it. That is why the service was 3/5. This was just one guy, and I’m sure other people are very nice. :)Next, the atmosphere and vibe was chill and cool. The bathroom was SUPER NICE AND CLEAN, and although I did not take a picture of it, it is coated in clean marble, tile, and has a high quality sink. But the toilet flush is loud, sadly. The main negative thing was the one little piece of service from that one guy, and the loud ice cream crusher that you can hear in the whole building. .Vegetarian options: There are milk and non-milk based drinksDietary restrictions: There are sorbet, non-milk, and other ingredients you can choose to remove to make a more customized and allergen-free Boba, smoothie, or drink.Kid-friendliness: This is basically a liquid ice cream shop, this is super kid friendly, and there are often kids thereWheelchair accessibility: It can be slightly difficult maneuvering a wheelchair between the seating area, but there is a ramp and outdoor seating. However, it can be a struggle for a wheelchair to be inside the restaurant other than where you order.

I’m not a fan of having to order from a touch screen, seeing the grime on the screen is even worse. I know the staff is busy but zero customer service and a machine asking for a tip is crazy. Maybe it was an off day but the powdered smoothie mix irritates my throat. I know a few places that use real taro and honey boba that’s actually healthier for you.Kid-friendliness: A few arcade games and seating.

My boyfriend and I are usually loyal to our regular boba shop. However, we felt the need to explore the diverse offerings in Cupertino, so we decided to give Mr. Sun Tea a shot. The parking lot was quite spacious, and upon entering, there was a lively atmosphere with young adults chatting and filling up the tables. It felt nostalgic and brought back memories of my younger days! There were also plenty of waiting seats against the wall if all tables are taken. Outdoor seating was also available. My bf order that Mr. Sun Mango w Mango Boba and I got the Mango Green Tea. We both really enjoy these drinks as they both are great drinks for the Summer, or just wanting to drink sweet tea. Overall, we will most likely come back to explore new flavors!

Located in Cupertino, parking is limited but easy to find. The interior is large and has some cool pinball machine decor. Seating is limited. Hazelnut milk tea (4/5): so yummy. I got 50% and it was a good sweetness level. The coffee jelly paired really nicely and was quite fragrant. Tap to pay is accepted and you can order ahead via Snackpass. Overall, Mr. Sun is a good shop for some boba.
