Haven't came back to the states for four years due to Covid. Came to eat first thing when I'm available. Food and service is the same as before. Couldn't recommend more!!

Had one of the worst experiences here. Server presented me with a POS machine for payment. It was quite difficult to customize tip esp. when server refused to let you hold the POS. As a result I put a lesser amount than I intended. Server then passive-aggressively asked for 20 dollar bill. The service was def below avg and it’s hard to get any attention. Food is pretty mediocre as well.

Went out with my cousin and my husband to this awesome hot pot restaurant.Great selections for broth (my favorite in the Garlic Miso), and several types of protein to choose from in regular or large sizes. Preferably regular as they give a good portion.Vegetables are automatically given along with your choice of rice, mixed rice, or noodles. Also has starters like Edamame, takoyaki, etc to name a few.Overall, really enjoyed the experience, would love to come here again!

The food is mediocre, and the serving pot is somewhat small. For the broth, we got house special and kimchi. The house special turned out burnt, affecting the flavor. For the entree, we got Kobe and lamb shoulder. The Kobe beef was flavorful but the lamb shoulder turned out dry due to the lean meat. As for the Sake, it was decent but lacked a distinctive flavor, tasting like water

The food was really good - but the service was frustrating. The host had given my party an ETA of a 25 minute wait. After waiting close to 40 minutes, I asked for an update for our wait time. I was told from that point another 10-15 minutes. After more time passed, the host came outside and told my party “Look, your table is going to be another 10-15 minutes from now, or you can sit at the bar.” He was extremely rude, and had I not been starving at that point I probably would’ve just walked away. We had agreed to bar seating, and quite literally 2 minutes after being seated a table had opened up and the party that was in line behind us got seated. The host had seated them, made direct eye contact with me, and said nothing. The actual servers were friendly and the food was good, making up for the rocky start - for the most part. But they def need a new host :)

We had a party of 5 people but one need to go to the bank. The restaurant was empty. They seat us down but after they knew that one person was not there, they asked us 4 people to go out and wait until all people there. We try to explain that we know what missing person wants and can make the order for him right away. The server still insist that we all have to go out and wait until all the people in our party here. We all just left the empty restaurant. We did not mad at the server but just feel bad for her that have to follow the manager or restaurant rule like black and white. The restaurant business is all about customer service. The server might not have common sense but the management should have to run a restaurant. We think that restaurant should have a warm welcome atmosphere not a battle field that we have to follow the rule. We will never go back and try the food. It is unfair for the back kitchen that work very hard to make the food look very delicious on the website but if the front of the restaurant can not sell. It is just sad.

One Pot Shabu Shabu delivers bang for your buck. Each person gets to pick an entree and their broth base. Each entree comes with a set of assorted vegetables. Each entree is also served with house made goma (sesame) and ponzu (citrus based soy sauce) sauce. Each entree comes in three different sizes- regular, large, and sumo. The bigger the size, the more meat you get. My friend and I ordered a large Angus prime ribeye entree and a lamb shoulder entree. For our broth base, we picked house special (organic soy milk and miso) and spicy kimchi. Both the broth bases were really good. The ponzu sauce was pretty good, too. The assorted vegetables were fresh and included a wide variety - corn, carrots, broccoli, noodles, tofu, mushrooms, pumpkin. The food was delicious, but I wish the staff was a bit more attentive. There were 2 instances when we needed more water in our broth, but we had to wait a few minutes to get that taken care of.Overall, it was a good dining experience.

YUMz. My favorite hot pot place in the South Bay. The reason? Clean, Romantic ambiance lol with their one light per table, romantic music, bar seating up in front, busy but not crazy busy - just the right amount of people, delicious ponzu and sesame sauces given to each person, clean delicious broths, yummy meats, clean and delicious veggies, good beer and sake drink selections, great service. We got the traditional broth and spicy kimchi. Loved both. My husband liked both and said he liked the kimchi slightly more. I liked having both options.Got the Kobe beef and rib eye, both were very good.Veggies were clean and plentiful. We were full at the end but ate everything. Servers came around asking if we wanted more broth. I wanna come here every month but kinda pricey but that's standard at any hot out place. We got fukuju sake which was good. Spent about 120$ including tip for two people.

Hello hello! I wanted to update this since the manager actually reached out to me to apologize and offer me compensation. I really appreciate the gesture and have been back since then. It is clear to me that they do genuinely care about their customers and this was an isolated incident that has since been handled. Thank you Kevin for rectifying the situation. My Kobe beef was delicious as always (see pic for meaty goodness). Thank you again.

Haven't been here for awhile. My boyfriend, and I used to be regulars. When we walked in, the worker name Mike was someone we used to always see. He was very welcoming, and attentive to us. The service provided was great, and food was delicious. Very worth it. Will be coming back soon Arigato!
