This place runs hot and cold. The best time is in the morning because that is when Jeannie works. All other times, I have consistently had my food dropped off at the table and was promptly forgotten about.Jeannie made breakfasts a 5 star... all other visits were 3 star.
We stayed at the adjacent Junniper hotel, but I would come here for breakfast even if I was not staying. Breakfast was a definite highlight. We had huevos rancheros and vickery's toast. Both great tasting and beautiful dishes. The vickery's toast being simple photo-worthy. Sure, its $40 for breakfast [all-in], but worth the splurge.
We got into the bar around 8.00om they was out of most the food, we didn't order any food just drinks, the bar man was very nice and super friendly on the friday night, the lady who was the bar manager I think, was trying to tell the guy how to lock up, but he told us he had worked at the bar a long time, and had two jobs.before she came to visit the bar, felt sorry for the guy, she was trying to make him feel like he didn't know what he was doing so sad to do it in...
