That is the worst smelling crab pasta I've ever had. I threw it away after two bites and ate the bread. Waste of money.

They already include a service charge of 15%, it is unacceptable

Food was okay at best, and not worth the price. They also force you to pay a 10-15% surcharge for some reason even though you have to go up to the counter to order your food and carry a tray with water, cups and utensils to your table as if you're your own waiter. The customer service is non-existent at all; employees just chill on their phones so I don't understand why they force this dumb tip on you.
Paid 40$ for a plate of pasta (with no meat ) and a salad . No bread at all. Mind you I did not order any drinks. Food tasted like it was frozen food. Come here if you want to spend money on trashy food.

My go to when I am working in No Cal!!!
The Cavatelli-Mushroom Truffle Pasta!!! To die for!!! Never disappoints!!!
Update: 2 years later. The Campbell location is the only one left. A friend had gone there since we use to love the Mushroom Truffle Pasta. Last time she ordered, she was so disappointed and kept telling me it wasn’t the same. Watery, lack of flavor, like they were cutting corners. I am again traveling to No Cal and wanted my pasta. Sorry to say but she was correct. Something is definitely different…lack of that umami flavor. Cant quite put our finger on it but not the same.
Restaurants across the way were very busy and no one was at Pasta Armellino.
Hopefully they can correct the current course, would hate to see them completely gone!

Pasta Armellino used to serve some of the best pasta in the Bay Area at the former locations. When I went to try the pasta, it is awful and so different from before. It is so disappointing.
Good mac and cheese but I ordered $20 Mushroom Ragout...scammed
Food was so so, kind of bland. Service personnel could use a bit more training. They overlooked providing eating utensils until we asked. Location was fine and enjoyed outdoor dining, except they didn’t know how to turn on the ceiling fans. So a bit warm. Maybe time to try another pasta restaurant …

the foods pretty basic but the pasta bolognese is great. the ONLY reason this is a 2 star place is because they blast the worst DJ remixed tiktok songs SO LOUD constantly. went there for an occasion and couldn’t even hear anyone over the sped up bass boosted tiktok remixes

It typically do not bother to leave poor reviews but this place is not good. The pasta is salty, way over cooked and I had really fishy tasting crab in dish and have felt sick and nauseous for three days! I started feeling sick about two hours after eating there with stomach cramps and still don’t feel right three days later! Do not go here- this is not real Italian food.

Pasta Armellino is a staple in our family when we are craving pasta, especially when it comes to the classic tomato sauce spaghetti. I don’t know if they import their tomatoes or sauce from Italy but the rich flavor of the tomato is better than any other tomato sauce we have eaten thus far in the Bay Area. The truffle fries were absolutely delicious. They were fresh from the fryer, so they were piping hot when served at the table. The family loved them in the shoestring cut, with the outside fried nice and crispy. The portion was very generous! The pastas were both cooked al denté so the texture was perfect. We have ordered takeout a couple of times and the pasta texture was overcooked due to travel time. But in person, the pasta was perfect. We have loved eating at the previous locations in Saratoga and Cupertino, and so we hope the Campbell location stays so we can continue coming back for the spaghetti.

I think this place is closed. I went and looked for 15 mins. Couldn’t find it. The mendocino farms replaced it?
There's nothing Italian about it!
