Total scam. I paid $40 for LA galbi and got only 4 tiny pieces. When I eat inside the restaurant, the portion is at least double. For takeout they straight up cheat customers and cut the quantity. Absolutely unacceptable—never ordering from here again.

Tofu Plus Korean BBQ was okay, but nothing too special. The food was decent and filling, but the flavors weren’t as bold or memorable compared to other Korean BBQ spots. It’s fine if you’re in the area and craving Korean food, but not a place I’d go out of my way for.

The restaurant stops seating new customers 50 minutes before the posted closing time (8:30pm). I arrived at exactly 7:40pm on a not very busy weekday night and the waitress refused to seat us. This is very disappointing. At lesst please do not advertise that you close at 8:30pm if you are virtually closing at 7:40pm.

Way too expensive for what you order. We tried budaejjigae and stirred fried beef and octopus, budaejjigae had like three thin slices of spam and three tiny sausages, two pieces of rice cake and they charged you $28 for this. Good luck with the stirred fried beef and octopus, you can hardly find any meat in this dish. And it’s $38. The only good thing is probably the banchan and the service, but Im gonna spend my money wisely and avoid this restaurant in the future.

Next door is Jae tea garden in case you need a sweet sip to balance the spice.

We went there as a 6-people party. But they serve only 2 shares of sides. If you go there alone they will give you 1 share of sides. We asked for more, and they rejected. During the whole meal the server only came twice to serve the dishes and left. But when checking out the server said, "you must pay 20% of after-tax charge fot the tip because we were a 6-people party." So if you go there more than 1, it means you get worse service, less food, and more charge.
I can imagine going there alone might be a good experience, because you get the same service and sides as a 6-people party. But if you are a big party and wanna have a meal together, avoid this place.
