I tried their brown sugar boba a while ago and really liked it, esp bc the sugar level is extremely as adjustable. This time, we saw the BOGO promo and decided to give them another try. We got the brown sugar taro milk and matcha latte. I wish the brown sugar taro milk came with a hot option (saw on Yelp reviews that it did at one point) but unfortunately this time the guy behind the counter said no. I took it home and microwaved it and it was really good warm. Can't say the same for the matcha latte, was very watery and would not recommend.

Parking: Very crowded parking lot in a shopping center with other restaurants

First time trying this place! Clean, well lit, ordered through a computer screenOrdered strawberry mango yogurt ice drink was refreshing. Not too sweet!

Beginning this process I chose not to order online or use the kiosk due to preference, so I had no problem waiting patiently for someone to take my order. The problem, however, was that all the employees looked up at me standing there but made no effort to take my order for an extended period of time. After finally placing the order, I again waited patiently for my order to be filled. Door dash orders are being filled, walk in orders are being filled (out of sequence)...after 20 minutes I ask where my order is. The person who actually took my order asks me again what I ordered and proceeds to make my drink, except he doesn't add the boba that naturally comes with the drink. Behind him another employee yells out that they are out of boba, the guy working with me a sloppy cup filled to brim with liquid barely any ice (I ordered 100% ice) and no boba saying "You didn't order yours with boba. It doesn't come with boba," to which I respond that it automatically comes with boba. That's how it's presented on the menu. He says "Uh, ok" and rushes over to scrape the bottom of some bowl, putting the boba in a separate cup. He then tries to hand me two separate things (i.e., one cup of liquid contents and one cup of solid contents). I asked him to merge the two. Needless to say, I left the store 35 minutes after entering it with a watered down drink containing barely any boba. Terrible experience.

Clean, well lit, ordered through a computer screen. Only wished they had a bottle of sanitizer nearby to use after touching a shared computer screen. The mango coconut drink was refreshing. Not too sweet! The ultimate Asian compliment. Took a star away because it was a little pricey. Tax and tip was over $7.

This is my favorite brown sugar boba place I’ve tried so far. I think it’s better than Tiger Sugar in terms of flavor. As someone who really loves tea and does not like sweet drinks, I was surprised by how much I liked it here. I only got it because it was their signature drink, but I was in the mood for something more refreshing and that had caffeine. I’m so glad I got this though. As the Asian golden standard for desserts goes, 70% was perfectly not too sweet. Do 50% if you want less. When it comes to this drink, I judge it based on the flavor but it also comes down to how sweet the boba itself is, as well as the milk ratio. Tiger Sugar ends up tasting just like sweetened milk at the end, but here, the boba is the star of the show. It was perfectly cooked, thick, and I finished it quickly.I ordered online but the people working at the store were really friendly. I think they were trying to talk to me when I was looking at the menu, but I couldn’t see them because I’m shorter than the barrier. Oops! The only downside here is the price. I paid over seven dollars for my drink. I know boba prices have been insane these past couple of years, and this shop is the epitome of that. I think that the price is standard for this area though. This is definitely a once in a while treat; it will break your wallet.

I tried the Fresh milk with brown sugar boba. The quality of the drink was good and it tasted nice. The pearls were nice and chewy but, it doesn't beat the brown sugar soaked pearls from Tiger sugar!

Always a delight to visit Truedan! Every drink we’ve tried is refreshing and soothing. My all time favorite has to be their Fresh milk with brown sugar boba. They make it so beautifully with care!

Best brown sugar boba milk in Bay Area!!!!! I almost go every week but just tried to add pudding this week. It’s FANTASTIC!!!!! I also add pudding to fresh milk with brown sugar & fresh taro. It still taste extremely well despite staying in refrigerator overnight.

Their menu isn't that exciting and they don't have any classic drinks like oolong milk tea. It looks really authentic in the Yelp photos but that's really about it. I had the jasmine green tea latte and it was really watery. There weren't even that many customers. It probably wasn't a good idea to set up next to a Ten Ren Tea since I noticed they had a line going to the parking lot. I really wasn't expecting it to be this bad but I should have known when I entered the store as they had drinks on the counter from 30 order numbers ahead of mine that nobody picked up.

Sesame Latte with Rice Puff is good. Never seen it at other boba shops

Horrible horrible service!!!! My boyfriend went into the store 8:50 pm trying to order. He asked about several drinks and the girl told him those were sold out. So he ordered something else while he heard the guy who’s preparing the drink telling the girl that “he came in the last min he deserves it”. Wth man??? It’s still your normal operation hour! And you don’t say stuff like that in front of your customers. We came in your normal operation hour and we deserve to not being able to get what we want and deserve to be treated like this???As for the drink, he ordered fresh milk with brown sugar & taro with 30% sugar yet we don’t taste or see a tiny bit of brown sugar………

Very refreshing drinks. My wife says their Honey Lemon Chrysanthemum Tea (C2) is her favorite drink *of all time*. The Mango Coconut Ice (B1) was also a highlight. This place is now on our list of top-tier tea shops.

Jasmine Tea Latte30% sugar70% iceFresh taroWith brown sugar bobaFirst time here, girlfriend says they're known for the brown sugar boba but wanted to get tea so we decided on the jasmine instead of just brown sugar boba with milk. This was very enjoyable, the 30% sugar kept the sweetness manageable and allowed the individual taste of the taro to shine through. The boba was a bit inconsistent, some were soft some were chewier, regardless it was all delicious. With the combo we got, the sugar is low enough to allow the jasmine tea's floral and slight bitterness to come out and the hints of sweet from the brown sugar, boba, and taro retain their individual characteristics. The 70% ice kept everything nice and cold without watering everything down.

Came here for a help event, and that was very positive. However, I don't think I would come to Truedan regularly. The boba was very expensive, compared to other places, but was not commensurately better. My drink, which was the uji matcha latte with red bean, would have been a whopping $7.50. The drink itself, while tasty, wasn't better than something I could have gotten at a different store for $5-$6. For the price point, I don't think that this would be necessarily worth it, but nothing beats free.I will say though, I do want to try their taro drink. I saw them making it, and definitely had an ounce of regret, since the taro drink looked really good. But alas, can't speak on that because I didn't actually get to try it :(
