It's a cute spot and the food is good, but I had the strangest experience here with one of the servers. I ordered a rice bowl and asked the server for the chili seasoning and soy sauce. She brought over just the seasoning, so I asked again for the soy sauce. She told me it already came with sauce, and with a more aggressive tone, asked me if it wasn't good. I just stared at her in disbelief. She asked again if it wasn't good. I asked politely again for the soy sauce, choosing not to engage. She eventually brought it over but I could not believe this bullying and hostile behavior.

Get the mackerel if it's not sold out, it was fantastic and a hit with the table.

A casual eatery for Japanese udon noodles. The menu was largely different types and styles of noodles. Service was quick. The udon noodles tasted fresh, and the broth was flavorful. I tried the Utsuke Udon Tsukemen, which had the noodles and broth served separately and then you add the noodles to the broth when eating. It was a solid dish. We also added a side green salad for some fiber and greens.

Fantastic udon!

Arrived 5 minutes before closing (door is opened with opened sign on), no one bother to seat us. 2 minutes later they told us they are closed with poker faces. A bit of kindness and willingness to serve your customers would be appreciated.

The tempura udon is very filling. The broth tastes great, be sure to get the tempura or it will be a bit bland.
The karaage looked delicious.
Service is wonderful, very friendly staff.

O M G the spicy oxtail udon is to die for. So so so good. I could have this every day. They served a full cartilaginous oxtail in there, with lots of meat and perfect udon. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I've already texted two friends saying they need to visit.

Decor won't win any prizes but it's a noodle shop

On a chilly Monday evening, I stopped by this restaurant for some udon. Immediately welcomed in, I was excited to look into the options and order. After a bit of reviewing other reviews, I settled on the oxtail broth oxtail udon. The staff were extremely attentive, constantly checking in and reassuring me when it took a while for me to determine my order. Eventually the food came out. The oxtail was very tender with a bit too much fat in the soup but the flavor was superb. There was a great depth of flavor, but a little too salty and fatty. Overall, I really enjoyed this meal as there were great vibes and great yaps with a friend there. Overall, I would go back to try different items.

The Oxtail Udon is excellent. The menu is small, but enough and most of the dishes are interesting.

I like the texture of udon here. It not that soft compared to normal udon. Liked it.

The dinkum noodles are okay. The soup is a bit salty and the sauce is very distinctive.

Food we ordered are tasty, but the quantity of noodle soup is lacking, bit pricier than most of the noodle soups in the bayarea. 1 Raman 1 calamari 1beer 1 cucumber cost $51.
