It has potential to be a cool spot, but… maybe they’re in a funk.Pros: Fun decor, better than most bars in the area. Variety of seating options, inside and outside, and a pool table. The bartender was friendly and gave the right amount of attention. Some interesting cocktails on the menu.Cons: Drinks were a bit overpriced for the quality. Despite numerous things on the food menu, the only items available were the pizzas and dietary restrictions were not listed or mentioned as accommodated.I had seen in a previous google review that this bar used to have a “Sassy Hour” (happy hour) but it doesn’t seem to be available anymore?Lastly, if you’re looking for a bar to socialize, this one is not currently popular so you’re likely to be the only patron there.

Unfortunately this hotel has gone downhill in the past couple years. The good: - very fast wifi for unlimited devices - staff is very friendly - walking distance to several tech companies and a number of restaurants/stores The bad: - Housekeeping: rooms are only cleaned every other day (so odd). Housekeeping took some of my towels and didn’t replace them. When I called the desk it took over 20 minutes (and 3 calls) before someone brought some. They never replenished water in the room. - the aircon is very loud. My first room was so loud I had to change rooms to something that sounded slightly less like a diesel truck starting up. Anyone even slightly noise sensitive will struggle with the room and the hallway sounds/slamming doors. - rooms are very dark, other than the bright flashing light that is part of the smoke detector and therefore unable to turn off. - there is a small refrigerator, but it struggled to even cool a bottle of water

The rooms are clean, albeit sterile with no microwave or sink outside the bathroom which is quite inconvenient. Location is excellent, but there are other hotels (even Marriott properties) nearby. Checked in early evening and greeted by an unenthusiastic receptionist. Unbelievably for such a high tech location, the internet at this hotel is terrible. Yes, coffee and tea is available at 6 am, but no creamer. Food is available but is quite expensive. Best option is across street at Parisian Bakery. Have stayed here twice, but not again.

Check in was delayed because there was no staff there for about 15 minutes. House keeping kept saying he’s be right here but took a while for the clerk to arrive. The hotel was very dim and dull. The rooms were poorly lit and you could easily hear your neighbors. There was no breakfast. Nothing at all.

Stayed here for a weekend to visit family and it was a really good stay. The desk was very pleasant when we were checking in the room was super clean everyone is very helpful. Took some of the kids to go swimming the very nice and clean pool. Very very nice stay would definitely recommend and we'll be back again! Shout out to all the staff during our stay!!

Excellent hotel with excellent location, extremely clean & comfortable . Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff, she made our trip more interesting with her advices & tips about the city, supermarket , shops, restaurants bars, etc. I would highly recommend this hotel to everybody! It is a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again reception staff for going just that little extra step for us!!!

First of all, hotel staff is so so bad! I checked in for a day and the shampoo bottles were empty in the room. When I reported this I was being told I am checking in for just 1 day so they wont fill the shampoo bottle. There were spiders in the room crawling on floor. I showed that too manager and the response was we will check as if I am lying and nobody ever came to room to check that. They just don't care to cater their guests. I had raised complaints with the manager about housekeeping and the response at reception and she asked me to drop a mail. It's been 2 weeks I am following up with them and they dont even care to reply back. Really pathetic service and such an arrogance. Wouldnt suggest anyone to stay here.

I stay in hotels all over the world and a Bonvoy member. This was my first time staying in this hotel and it will be the last. The walls are so thin, you can hear the people or T.V. in the room/s next to you. Every slamming door, every person walking, talking and laughing, you hear it. The bed was terrible. It was the hardest bed I have ever experienced. It was like trying to sleep on a pool table. I even tried sleeping on the thin couch. I was there for six terrible nights for business. Unfortunately, I don't get to pick the hotels I stay in, but this is the first time in five years I have had a bad stay at any hotel, and I travel a lot with this company all over the world. Also I usually bring leftovers from home to eat so I don't have to eat out and my work days can go up to 18 hours. This is the first hotel I can remember that doesn't have a microwave in the room. If you have something you want heated up, you have to go down to the lobby where there is a microwave you can use by the reception desk. There is a teenie tiny refrigerator in the room though that won't hold much more than a six pack of soda. The soap in the shower was also empty and I asked to have it refilled. Never happened. A co-worker was without hot water for three days and had a room above the bar. Sleep was not an option until they turned off the techno music at 11 P.M.. He agrees with me, we will never stay here again.

I am LIFE TITANIUM customer with 1, 700 Marriott nights. This may have been the worst room I have ever stayed in at Marriott!!! Before, I complain, I should acknowledge what was good: The staff was very friendly and AM person upon checkout, Betsy, was exceptional. The hotel is very nicely finished. Attractive modern design. Price was fair. Reasonably good value. NOW: The shower water never got hot after taking a long time just to get to "warm" DANGEROUS: VERY SLIPPERY SHOWER FLOOR!!! DANGEROUS: NO GRAB BAR IN THE SHOWER!!! inconvenient- no convenient towel hook or bar for towel no soap in bathroom -can you believe that? just one very flimsy plastic drinking cup. That's almost funny. No USB ports The light over the bed is waaaaaay too weak for reading Doesn't Marriott vet these rooms before it awards or validates a franchise???

The explanation why the rates are lower than at other hotels: The worst hotel I've stayed in, and I stayed in Motel 6 & Travelodge .... This hotel is not 3 star, at least not anymore. After it took exactly 32 minutes to checkin, because apparently they couldn't find my reservation and then it took way too long to add it to the system, the person working the evening shift had no idea what he was doing (also he wasn't wearing a mask, when it was mandatory, I mean December of 2021). He was however making sleazy "jokes" and calling me sweetheart. After I finally got to my room, I saw that the cleanness was on a level of a motel... there were no hand soap nor moisturizer, the body wash container was filled with water, these are definitely were not Bliss products as they advertise on the containers. Then I made a mistake of taking a shower without checking for towels.... well at least there was a washcloth, that I used to dry myself..... Bring your own soap & towels (soon I could see that own toilet paper would be required too). The next morning I asked for the towels to be delivered to my room, they never got there, I just purchase a towel from Target next door. BTW do not expect to charge your car at their charging stations because they do not enforce the parking and people just park there all the time, couldn't charge once in 3 days. Due to lower prices, you will get the neighbors accordingly... Take my advise, pay $20 more and stay anywhere else.

I checked in here in December 2021 for overnight accommodation as I was in the area for work. Parking was a bit of a weird situation and not clearly sign posted. What really bothered me though was the odd behavior of the person who was supposed to be the "front desk" clerk. He was not at the desk when I arrived, instead chatting with someone in the kitchen . When he did eventually notice me and that I was wanting to check in, he sauntered over to his desk. He looked unkempt and definitely unprofessional as if he had just gotten out of bed , sleeping in his clothes. He was swaying on his feet and looked unsteady . He seemed confused and barely able to do his job as if he was under the influence of something. His eyes were glazed over and he kept stumbling . It look almost 15-20 minutes to check in to a room when there were no other customers around. I got placed in a Disabled room for no specific reason. I think my biggest concern was, how can the Company (ALOFT) employ someone like this for a responsible position in terms of safety of customers when clearly this employee was inebriated or on something ? The first and definitely the last time I will ever stay here.

This Aloft is essentially on the Apple Infinite Loop campus. My room was nestled between several of the Apple De Anza buildings (next door to "De Anza 3"). It is a short walk or a very short drive to the Infinite Loop campus if you have business there. (Notably, you would need to take the freeway one exit south to get to Apple Park. There is a Hilton Garden Inn across the street from Apple Park if that is where you have business.) Parking for this Aloft is under the building. The signage for the parking lot is a bit confusing as there is one sign that states the hotel's parking lot is straight ahead but another says "DO NOT ENTER". No problems with check in. The room that I got, #301, appears to be an accessible room for people with disabilities with a plainer layout than the hotel's other rooms. (Many were open for cleaning when I left.) Most of the rooms in the hotel looked fine but #301 needs a renovation. Due to the layout of the hotel, which spirals out from the elevators, this room is the farthest away from the elevators and directly across from a stairwell. The layout is different from the hotel's other rooms and leaves a lot of empty space in the middle of the room. There was a huge, gross stain in the middle of the carpet - like a dog had an accident. The room lacked seating and didn't have a couch like the other rooms in the hotel. The desk chair had chocolate or some other kind of gross food on it and slowly sank every time I sat in it. It couldn't maintain the height needed to comfortably work at the desk. The room didn't have any bottled water or a blow dryer, which are generally Aloft essentials. There was uncleaned toothpaste on the wall next to the sink and the toilet never flushed with one press of the handle. The room had a fridge, safe, and ironing board. The TV wasn't set up to do streaming but worked fine otherwise. It got a single Showtime channel. Water pressure in the shower was just okay - not at all what I am used to from an Aloft, but sufficient. Saw dead mosquitos under the light covers in the hallway. Because of its far off location, room #301 is very quiet and I got a decent night's sleep. The windows have decorative plants partially obscuring the view outside, which was perhaps for the best. It wasn't horrible - looked like some kind of Japanesque clubhouse used by Apple, limited parking for three high end cars, and some garbage cans back there. There is a Target within walking distance of the hotel in a strip mall with other stores and food places. There is also an indie Asian donut shop across the street, Happy Donuts, that had a lot of great donuts and wonderful coffee. (If you don't know about the Cali indie donut shops run by Asians, watch the documentary The Donut King. I always choose these places over the chains, like Dunkin'.) De Anza Blvd is a main thoroughfare and the surrounding area has plenty of food, gasoline, etc. The hotel has a pool in the middle of the spiral. I didn't have a chance to use it, but it looked okay. Whether you should stay here depends on price and location, I guess. It wouldn't be my first choice if I have to return to the area. There are plenty of better Alofts in this part of California.
