So dirty! The tables were just wiped casually, the chairs were all greasy, not a single stool was clean. The restaurant was full of flies, I can’t even imagine how filthy the kitchen must be. After eating here, you’re guaranteed to get diarrhea. The waiters also had a terrible attitude.

First time trying this place in the area and it did not disappoint! You can order via QR code and input your additions to the fish stew you want. The portion was very large and enough for 2 and the flavour was delicious.

Food is okay but their package for to-go is terrible. I ordered two bowls to-go and they packed them into a single bag that has doesn’t hold those two bowls very well. This is what happened when I got home: the top bowl got tilted during transition and all the sauce spit out because of the way they packed it.

I got the beef spicy mix and it was really delicious! Spicy and fragrant and very well seasoned. Really nice assortment of ingredients, and everything was well cooked. The unlimited rice was a nice touch too, even tho I didn’t need it. Good price for the amount of food and I had enough leftover for lunch the next day.

They were understaffed. Only had 2 waiters during dinner time. The food came quickly, in ~20 minutes. The food was good, the soup was too salty for me. The rice is as good as ever, if not better. The rice used to be a little cold, but now it is warm.

i love 与你在一起。 the experience i’ve had with it is that it’s decent food. my issue with this one is that there is no service. eg- i’ve had to get every cup of water myself. same for bowls and tissues. i’ve had to get up to ask for them every time.

in my experience with other stores of this franchise, the staff are quick to refill your water. my wife dropped her chopstick and they didn’t even offer to provide another set. i wanna give this location another chance because of the food, but i hope the service gets better next time.

We came to Wei’s Fish at 9:00 PM, well before their posted closing time of 9:30 PM. We were told the dine-in service was closed but they could still do take-out, which we accepted. However, we were made to wait while they handled other customers’ checks and take-out orders. When it was finally our turn, we placed our order—only to be told they couldn’t prepare it for take-out because they didn’t have the right sized box. That explanation felt quite unreasonable, especially since using a slightly larger container seemed like a simple solution. The whole experience was disorganized and disappointing, especially given the misleading closing time.

This place has the best Sichuan pepper sauerkraut fish (酸菜魚) in the area! The portions are generous, and the quality remains consistently excellent. They stay true to the classic recipe, including all the authentic ingredients like celtuce, which is becoming harder to find elsewhere. Unlike some other locations (looking at you, San Mateo!), this store hasn’t compromised on quality or skimped on the fish.

What’s more, the price is very reasonable. At $29.99, it’s more than enough for two people, and you even get unlimited rice—making it an amazing value.

Many of my Taiwanese friends recommended it to me. This Boiled Fish with Pickled Cabbage and Chili is becoming increasingly popular.

It has a scallion and tomato flavor but is not spicy. I personally don’t think it’s anything special. The fish slices are very soft and the soup is a bit sour because the pickled cabbage, good to eaten with white rice.

Service is fast and friendly , but table so small and tiny .

Price is very reasonable, 2 people $38 , one appetizer - deep fried chicken , 2 drink , one pot of fish .

We ordered the Lautan suancai fish (large), tomato fish (regular), and a dry beef dish, along with sesame balls for an appetizer.

The sesame balls were small but delicious, with a nice, crispy texture. As for the main dishes, both fish dishes were fantastic—flavorful, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The dry beef dish, however, had a very strong cumin flavor, which might be a hit or miss depending on your preference.

One small downside was that the rice was a bit on the dry side, which could have been improved. Also, it would have been helpful if extra bowls and plates were provided. Since we were sharing everything, it would have made it easier to use the utensils and drink the soup without double dipping.

Lastly, the digital menu from QR code didn’t quite line up with the paper menu on the table, which was a bit confusing and frustrating. It would be great if they could align them better to avoid any mix-ups.

Honestly speaking, the fish tastes and smells really not fresh and kind of stinky. The soup is okay but the fish…. Hm.

They give you free rice to go with the dish. If you don’t eat spicy food, the fruity lemon flavor is your best choice. Also the tomato flavor is your choice if you don’t like spicy food. But if you can eat spicy food, try the authentic Old Pot Sauerkraut one. You can also adjust the spicy level.
