Best banh mi in the South Bay. Can’t beat the price. Their bread quality is elite.

A polar opposite of the Hamilton Av store, of which I have nothing but kudos to share about. First off the website would not take my order, it actually said 'sold out', without a description of the issue. Previously teh Hamilton Av store's site would say 'spring rolls sold out.' 3 attempts later I called the store and they said to use GrubHub to order. Not a mention of I can take your order, just another impersonal blow off. I used GH (since have received 6 emails from them), and ordered spring rolls, bbq pork sandwich and a cold noodle bbq pork bowl. The spring rolls were like Vietnamese burritos (wrapped loosely and not as fresh as Hamilton Av.), and the cold noddle (their spelling) bowl came out as a rice plate and I got charged for the cold noodle bowl price! They were closed by the time I got home. The pork was 50% fat that I wouldn't feed the dog - a disaster of an experience.

Stopped by to pick up a few sandwiches since I’ve been craving banh mi. Staff was kind and welcoming and the inside was well kept and clean. Ordered the BBQ pork with everything and added a fried egg since that’s my go to. Bread was perfectly crunchy but not too hard that it hurts like mouth like some other places, and the flavors of the pickled vegetables and the pork were amazing! Definitely finished the whole sandwich and wanted more. Will be back next time to try the other varieties!

Unassuming, but served a great banh mi. I especially liked the bread; it was nice and puffy and decently-sized.

Quaint little restauraunt on the side of Stevens Creek alongside many others. Simple menu, friendly staff, cheap but delicious sandwiches, and overall really welcoming environment :) (Highly recommend #4 on the menu!)

Literally my favorite banh mi place. They toast the bread for ya so it's crunchy with every bite. No other place does it like yummee sandwiches. Give them a try, they will not disappoint! This place is delicious and so affordable which is why I keep coming back.

Tried the grilled pork and combo banh mi here, but unfortunately felt like the prices are way too much, especially considering the size of the sandwiches here are quite small compared to other places.

Their Bahn Mi sandwiches are great! The bread is super fresh, crunchy on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside. They don't skimp on ingredients which are both fresh and tasty. I've also had their beef stew with bread and it's delicious! The broth is thick and full of flavor. The amount of beef is not a lot, but overall this meal is hot and satisfying. This is primarily a take out place, so keep that in mind. It's great to have a solid sandwich place in the neighborhood. I hope they flourish as restaurants have had a tough time at Stanley Square in Cupertino.

Great small place to satisfy a banh mi craving. They have a good variety of different banh mi choices including vegetarian options like tofu. Menu also has several entrees, including spring rolls, stews, curries, and rice plates. Inside is your typical order at the counter type deal, there are also a couple big tables, wifi, and outlets if you want to sit down and do some work. We ordered the bbq pork and ham/pork roll/pate banh mis. They were both really good. The bread was crispy, meat was flavorful with good portions, and veggies were fresh. The sandwiches were pretty large with a lot of filling. The only thing is that it took kind of long for our order to be ready, but it looks like this location just opened so they could still be adjusting. Prices were reasonable, about 9$ per banh mi. I haven't tried other banh mi places in Cupertino, but I can see this one being the go to spot.

Came here recently to eat for my bday lunch. I love bahn mis and was so excited to find a new place open in Cupertino. Even more excited when I found that they can give you extra veggies (at charge). We ordered the grilled pork bahn mi and the sloppy beef, both with the 1$ extra veggies. They sure do load up the sandwiches with extra veggies, so I am curious as to how the double veggies look. The grilled pork was lacking a bit in the grilled pork flavor, but the pork quality was good... there was so tendony pieces or fat pieces, and no gamey taste. Just wish it could have more grilled pork flavor. Both sandwiches could have also used more mayo. Now... why 5 stars still? The sloppy beef was soooo delicious and spicy. It didn't taste like the traditional bahn mis but it was a super solid ultra delicious sandwich. I would come back for this. Also 5 stars for the option of adding extra veggies. I always feel like there's too much meat and not enough veggies at the other bahn mi places, but this place has the ratio down. Also tried the Vietnamese iced coffee, which was good but could have used some more condensed milk to make it less bitter. But it did provide good heat relief for the sloppy beef sandwich!

After waiting for some time for Yummee to open, I was able to try it today. Nice, fast service and the restaurant was really clean inside. I wish I had thought to take a picture of my sandwich before I ate it. It was so tasty. I got the #10 and my husband had a #1. They both tasted really fresh. Next time I might try a sardine sandwich, or I might just stay with the mushroom and tofu (#10), which I had never seen anywhere else. It was very savory and would totally get it again.

Awesome tofu mushroom bahn mi sandwich and vietnamese coffee! Quick and friendly service too.

I got stale, dry bread for my sandwich. The shop was empty and the sandwich still took 5-10 min to make.

Ordered the #1 Ham, Pork Roll, and Pate. The meat and veggie portions were generous. I also thought that the pickled carrots and daikon were well marinated. The main improvement area is the bread. I took a few bites as soon as the order was finished, but already found that the bread was not well toasted. I'll have to go back and try their other menu items!

I can't speak to other menu items but the fried tofu sandwich is top shelf. Hot peppers really hit you. Bun is great. Tofu is generous. Pickled veggies are plentiful.
