Came here and tried their Uji Einspanner matcha. The price for the drinks was standard, around $7-8 for the large drinks and about a dollar less for the regular. The foods, however, were on the pricier end for the quality and nature of their products. The interior was well-kept and had a modern, millennial meets GenZ vibe. As for the drink itself, my matcha had a nice smooth, but thick consistency. However, there seemed to be something missing. The matcha lacked flavor and tasted more like lightly flavored milk rather than matcha. I have, though, heared many great things about their VTM coffee—which is said to have a much stronger flavor and taste, so perhaps I just ordered the wrong drink. I would say overall though, through my honest and fair interpretation, my experience was not disappointing but quite mediocre and—contrary to the words pressed onto the wall— nothing but ordinary.

Café Next to Trader Joe’s with Nice Vibes… Just Don’t Order My Drink unless you are really a cinnamon flavor lover.
This Vietnamese café chain has a chill vibe, cute merch, and bags of their own coffee beans for sale. I skimmed the menu and out of pure curiosity and ordered the Spicy Honey Latte.
Let me just say… I absolutely did this to myself. The cinnamon was so strong it bullied the honey and the coffee right out of the cup. I took a sip and immediately started questioning my life choices. Definitely not my thing. 😂
On the bright side, my friend’s Matcha Latte was actually pretty good so at least one of us ordered wisely.

They make good coffee and they are very consistent. I usually get the blk VTM ice coffee and that is always good. Their breakfast is also very good and tasty. Their service has always been good to me and my family. This is my goto coffee place.

Terrible service. I wait 15-20 min for a black coffee each time and i don’t get it because they have 4 people in there working. Coffee tastes great but not worth the price eg. hockey puck sized bagel sandwich that is microwaved $13 - and still takes 20 min to make.

***Update**** I finally snagged a pic before I mixed it! One of the best coffees I have ever had in my life! My absolute favorite it the Iced Neapolitan VTM, tastes just like the ice cream. If you like Neapolitan, you will love this coffee.

there's a strong bitter edge to the classic vietnamese coffee, but it still has that rich, velvety-smooth flavour. super condensed, super bold, so it's really made for slow sippers [the light vietnamese coffee option can be for those who chug their drinks]. very helpful staff too, it's just that there's limited seating; good spot to grab a drink to browse the trader joe's next door 🛒
