Always love coming here for lunch, rarely do I get to leave the office but El Torito in Cypress is one of our go to spots. The staff are always amazing, food is super high quality stuff. Highly recommend. I've been meaning to find the time to come on a brunch day!
My mom catered my dad's 80th birthday. There and it was delicious. The service, it was spectacular. The food I just can't say everything was so good, enough. Family from all over here, the United States attended, there was a large crowd. They have plenty of help.Everything was so good.
Came for happy hour in the var. Jose was our server. Great service, very attentive. Very friendly. For service alone, we'll be back. Flautas and birria tacos were really good. Tacos were ok. Asada fries were good too. Mango margarita and jalapeño cucumber margarita were pretty good.
My go to spot on Fridays after work for happy hour! 🍻
Darlene is wonderful. I haven’t been to El Torito for a while and she made our visit so great. I’m coming back again.
El Torito is always a great place to go for dinner or especially brunch on Sundays. Lots of food options to choose from. The service is a hit or miss. This time we went, we had Jorge. He was amazing! Very positive and attentive. I've seen him around in this restaurant a few times and he's always happy. I've never had him as a server until my last visit, and I'm so glad we got him! I'd request him every time if I could!
Food was really good drinks were good as well. Great choice to eat before a show or concert or just because
When we checked in for our 11:45 reservation on Mother's Day we were told they were running 15-20 minutes behind, not a big surprise since it's Mother's Day and even on a regular Sunday, El Torito is busy, unfortunately it ended up being 60 minutes until we were seated! IInside it looked as though they had over booked, the tables nearly collided with the buffet, my mother is in a wheelchair and it was difficult to get her to the table. I felt bad for older guests with canes and walkers trying to navigate the nonstop flow of people. There were several times I waited in line for food only to see everything was empty. That being said, everyone working there was in hustle mode to restock food and take care of guests. I was impressed watching the waitstaff weave through the crowds with giant hot cast iron pans and never bump into anyone or drop anything, they must have heat proof hands!! If it isn't been for the hour wait beyond our reservation time my review would be much higher, the food was good, sometimes it just took a few trips to get what I wanted. It was noisy but that is to be expected.
We had a lovely brunch on Sunday and enjoyed the music and food!! We were a party of 7 and had a big table and they also gifted us with pancakes. Awesome experience
Tacos and omelets were very tasty, food on the buffet line was fresh and replenished often. Our server Daizy was attentive and very nice. We will visit for Sunday brunch again.

I recently went on march 9th and got two adult brunches which include, bottomless mimosas and complimentary pancakes but our server didn't ask us anything or mention anything and didn't mention anything because it's HER job to say something. While other of her tables were served with mimosas and those pancakes.
Very loud locution. An approximate 4% fee was added to the bill with no advance explanation.
I have visited this location several times because it's close to our home. We went for Valentine's Day last night and made an Open Table reservation in advance. We arrived at 7:30pm (our reservation time) and checked in, the host let us know we would be seated shortly. Twenty minutes passed, and I checked with the host and was told I would be seen again shortly. Another 15 minutes went by, and finally, we were told we were the next party with a reservation to be seated. Our reservation was at 7:30pm, and we were seated at 8:25pm. I like El Torito for the ambiance, food, and drinks; the waiters are always accommodating. The front staff and management had difficulty with the number of walk-ins and reservations.
Went for Sunday Brunch RESERVATIONS RECoMMEDED. There were a lot of people outside waiting to be seated I had a reservation for 2 and was seated right away. The restaurant was VERY crowded and Noisy. There were plenty of stations opened around the restaurant with different selections to choose from. the food was good there were enchiladas, rellenos, soups, salads deserts, and much more to choose from. there was a taco area also. Like I mentioned it was very crowded if you do not like crowds then I would go elsewhere. I think when they closed the Westminster store the people came to the next closest El Torito Cypress. At Westminster they had a courtyard where all the food was displayed at Cypress it was in the entry way in the restaurant in the bar area. There is outside seating available if you want. will I come back Maybe. Remember to make a reservation
Good food at a great price in a welcoming atmosphere. We shared the family fajita platter and everyone loved it. The chicken tortilla soup was also outstanding.
