Mokkoji is one of my local go-tos for shabu shabu (hot pot). I mainly dine in for lunch, and it's always been an enjoyable and delicious experience. It's hardly crowded, and the staff has been kind and attentive. I appreciate the simplicity of the meal, which features fresh ingredients and a variety of broths and high-quality meat options. The presentation of the meats are really good but they go super heavy in the garlic and butter, maybe I need to try it without it. The customer service was lacking. During my meal I asked for a second bowl so I can create my noodle soup, the young waitress there told me to use my rice bowl, I told her I still had rice left in it along with other bits of food lol wtf. She finally gave it to me when she came to her senses. You guys gotta work on your customer service.

Interesting first visit. We came here on a Thursday so it was a bit dead of a morning/lunch time. The menu was a little overwhelming when first looked at it from someone who had shabu shabu but as everyone store have different types and how their system works.
