Mexican restaurant located right across the entrance to Cypress College, on Valley View and Lakeshore Dr., in northern Orange County.
It's an "everyday", no-frill restaurant, nothing fancy, and prices reflect that. But it seems to be fairly popular in the area, and that's always a good sign. It's clean, the service is very good, prompt, and corteous. The menu is quite extensive, going way beyond the usual tacos, burritos, and enchiladas. You'll find things like menudo and posole, which is always a good sign of a more "authentic" Mexican restaurant. Oddly enough, they also serve burgers. If you dine in, you'll get a complimentary basket of tortilla chips with bean paste. There's a self-service salsa bar. The assortment is decent, but the variety is limited. Most importantly, if you don't like spicy, your only choice is the salsa verde.
The food is good. Not spectacular, but definitely above average for this type of restaurant. I had the chicken burrito, my wife had the fish plate (tilapia, of course...) The burrito had a slightly toasted tortilla, which is something I appreciate. The meat was good and tasty. We also tried a side of guacamole. Home-made, no doubt, and pretty good, although we've definitely had better.
Overall, it's a solid choice if you're in the area and craving for fast Mexican food.

I especially went to try the Menudo... yes, it's good but they give very little, they must serve a good plate loaded with Menudo that fills your belly... hahaha and I don't eat a lot!

Decent food. Sope was okay. Nachos were good. Good enough I’d eat here again, not top notch that I’ll go out of my way to eat here, but if you’re close by, it’s worth the stop.

Service was slow but ended up being worth the wait. Food was delicious. I had the carnitas burrito without rice and they fried up the carnitas perfectly while my wife had a fish taco and a shrimp taco and we were amazed at the amount of both they included. Just wish they would turn up the a/c a bit as it was just too warm inside though it was cool outside. They also have a nice salsa bar with plenty of choices.

Overpriced food. We tried different dishes with different salsas but nothing really to our expectations. Service is not the best. They don't know who orders what, so they go table by table when they need to hand out a dish!
We got sick ???? food poisoningThats all i can tell you.We order torta de milanesa and a mix carne Torta.Plus the same song re-playing in the back ground.. for 40min straight. .If you want to have a deep stomach cleansing .. this is the place to go. . ?

I was online looking for a good chili verde burrito in my area. After reading the reviews I visited Senor Taco. It took a little longer than expetcted for my order to be served. The burrito looked fantastic but, it had a weird texture and flavor. I kept burping that wierd flavor all night and eventually got diarrhea/food poisoning. I won't be going back.
