Today is cinco de Mayo, during quarantine and the food was excellent. I got the shredded beef tacos and the chicken floutas. They gave me more than enough chips and salsa . The wait was crazy, but worth it. The workers were doing their absolute best with the amount of orders they had. They handled everyone's entitled attitudes with such grace and gratitude. Hats off to service workers! You are essential and I appreciated the hustle
This was one of the hardest places to give up when we moved away almost 11 years ago, so every (or almost every) visit back home we make an effort to have dinner here. From the homemade salsa and tortilla shells (yes the cook up full shells for you to break into chips) to the various beers on tap, and the 15+ page menu (usually don't like big menus but this place is the best, everything is the best). My wife loves doing the wet burritos and I do a multi item platter in case...
My wife introduced me to this place 12 years ago and we still think the food is phenomenal. We haven't found a dish we don't thoroughly enjoy! The service is also fast and quite friendly. I emphatically recommend Super Mex!
