I LOVE this place! My bf and I come to Sushi World for all of our birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays. It's beyond delicious. The pricing is pretty standard for the industry but it's the type of sushi that if it were in a busy city area they would easily charge $3-8 more per plate and people would still pay it. The service is always great. We prefer to sit at the bar with the sushi chefs (they're very talented and it's mesmerizing to watch them work) but we have also sat at the tables before; no matter where you are sested, you will get great service.

I rarely ever leave a bad review but this was easily one of the worst sushi experiences I’ve ever had. The sushi quality itself wasn’t too bad, it was average (overpriced for its’ quality). And the waitresses are friendly, but the food took ridiculously long. There were only 2 other parties in the restaurant, first order of 12 pieces of nigiri took about 20-30 minutes which was a little understandable. But the last 4 pieces of nigiri (2 orders of 2 pcs) took another 25 minutes! How does it even take that long with so little people eating in.. and then I look at the chefs behind the bar and they’re hitting their cups of beer with the customers eating there.. I normally wouldn’t have a problem with that IF my food didn’t take ridiculously long. Will never come back, wouldn’t recommend to others. Would recommend the owner to have his workers learn to prioritize their responsibilities more appropriately though.

I am only commenting on Happy Hour because that is the reason why I came here today and I just don't think it is worth it and is kind of a gimmick. They only give two pieces and I am a petite woman and after ordering around $40 worth of Happy Hour menu items and tempura me and my partner were still hungry and had to eat another meal like two hours later. The taste of the sushi is fine the fish is good it is fresh but the rice separates very easily isn't sushi rice supposed to hold together? the tempura is average and they give very little definitely need one per person at least. I think it is more worth the money to just order the entire entree at full price no happy hour. Now I see why they offer the happy hour so often it's actually very expensive and not a deal at all. I don't think the prices here are affordable at all if you take into account portion size literally there is an uni roll for like $22

Food was amazing. The red dragon roll and the scallop roll were phenomenal. I took the advice of another review and tried the truffle salmon which was unbelievable almost all the tables were full, but there were only two Waite staff and one was actually hosting as well so I wouldn’t say Service was great. I think they could’ve used one more person on the floor
